You don't need hold notes longer than they're supposed to be held, The pedal will blur the notes for you once you start using it for this piece.

Take your time before you start
Sing at least two measures and count before you put your hands on the keyboard. It will help you to determine the tempo.
Hear the sound before you play it.
LAST NOTE: very important to end properly, relieve the energy and place your hands on your knees and then get up and bow.
Practice that at home everyday.Do not forget to play it slow.

The owl: keep counting the beats out loud.

Circle Dance: continue to practice. Isolate the sections that you are hesitating on and take them out of context and practice themakes slowly.

Little March in D: play the whole piece slowly hands together. Make sure you are playing in the correct octave.

Valse: First page: fix notes, and careful not to make abrupt change of the tempo. Second page : play both hands slow to accustom the right hand fingering. Complete the entire piece for next week.

Sonatina :
- Moderato : add grace notes, careful with the articulations on the right hand eighth note pattern ( long , short, etc.) practice slow to sight read the right hand passages correctly.
- Romanze: practice hands separate first line only. ( count 8th notes, do not play grace notes) ( 1, 2, 3...) as an exercise.

Canon : practice hands separate then do them together. Do three lines on page 2 hands together by next week.

Prelude in e minor: add pedal next week. Add the last two lines.

play both hands octave higher only on the first page until the first two measures of the third line. Be careful with the middle voice, hold the quarter note correctly counted. Follow the fingering indicated on the paper.

chordal fantasy: Complete the entire piece, memorize the parts that slip away the memory.

EE requirement: two octave major scales and arpeggios. chords and cadences are all in major.
