To whom it may concern,

I am writing this letter to discuss the recent oil spill incident that happened. (This incident actually happened in 1989, but let's pretend it was recent.)I find the way you handled the situation unjust, and poorly dealt with.

After the oil spill on the coast of Alaska, within 24 hours of the incident, no proper containment of the oil was conducted. To make matters worse, you then tried to dumb down the incident, and try to turn media attention away from it. Whilst doing so, you still did not make any progress in containing the oil spill.

Please stop focusing on the press, and focus on repairing the damage you have caused. A problem that is not spoken about doesn't mean it's not serious, or important. Many companies make mistakes and blunders but customers will respect honesty from large corporations.

I hope this will make you reconsider your actions and choices.

To whom it may concern,

I am writing to address the recent “missile and drone strikes” that have occurred in Ukraine. I find these actions disgusting.

As the cold winter approaches, your attacks have done severe damage to Ukraine’s power supply, leaving innocent people, “Six million without power as Ukraine winter bites,” without electricity, heat, or even water. This is a rather serious problem, and the power shortages are “likely to face power cuts until March.” Not only have these violent airstrikes left houses without power, Ukraine has also had to disconnect their nuclear reactors. One reactor, the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, had to be shut down when your shells were falling dangerously close to it. Before this devastating war, that reactor was responsible for around 20% of Ukraine’s electricity. 

If you indeed want to target the power supply because you think it will make the people of Ukraine “revolt against their government”, I sincerely doubt they will. There should be no excuse for harming innocent people, especially to this degree. 

I request, for the sake of Ukraine’s citizens, and for the sake of yourselves, that you stop this war. Ukraine’s citizens do not deserve to suffer, and I would like to remind you that wars are notorious for draining the resources of both sides. There are no downsides to doing so, and it would stop Russia’s public image from being further tarnished every day this dreadful war continues.

I hope you will consider these requests when making further actions.

To whom it may concern, 

 

I am writing to make suggestions about your country and how you treat your people. I wanted to talk about an issue that has been going on with Qatar.

I fear that people there might not be comfortable with what actions you have taken in the past, for example gender equality, and the LGBTQ + community. I understand that having the world cup hosted in your country will do great for money and business, but in my humble opinion have you considered treating your guests and people who live there better ? For example, don’t stop people watching the show in the stadium from wearing rainbow wristbands, or having headbands that are rainbow coloured too. They support their community and we support ours.

I respectfully ask in peace for a change, for gender equality and human rights.  I hope you can consider reading this and thanks for reading this letter all the way up to here.
