Out of my nine years at this school, you are truly one of the best Science teachers that I have ever had! :D 🧑‍🔬

Through your class, I've grown to love and appreciate the field of Science even more, and now I like this subject as I did back in lower school 😆. I always look forward to our classes not only because I find the topics quite fascinating, but also because of the silly jokes you crack often and the "back in my days" type of stories that you tell us 🙏. Having you as our teacher isn't just advantageous academically-wise, but amidst the everyday usual lectures we have, you always find multiple, witty ways to effectively educate us whether it be through putting memes in slides, antics (the dab in the science lab hahah), and the random anime/pop culture references. There's never a boring Science class with you, and we all wish we could have you as our teacher in tenth grade as well T_T.

Even if the topics have begun to become a bit trickier these weeks, you've done a stellar job in effectively teaching all of them. You've truly made such a complex, intricate subject very comprehensive and fun for all of us. You're one of the only few teachers who truly put effort in emphathizing and putting yourself in our shoes when it comes to times where face hardships in the classroom.

Above all, I hope that you are enjoying your first year of teaching here at MC, and that you will continue to build lovely, unforgettable, lasting memories with 9-Lichauco and Orange Batch '27. Again, I hope you realize the appreication and gratitude we have for you. You've worked very hard in pursuing your career, so I also hope you have time for rest as well. I'm grateful to have an understanding and witty teacher like you. Even though science has always been my favorite subject, it has gotten even better with you as my teacher. I sincerely appreciate it whenever you provide us with interesting extra information every lesson as it ignites my curiosity about the subject. The moments you used to comfort the class when someone was upset. As well as the times when you would crack up one those silly jokes of yours. Aside from this gift of sparking a rare sense of wonder in your students, I sincerely appreciate how easygoing and approachable you are as a teacher, not only with fun games and loads of recitation points in the classroom setting but in a learning environment overall. As our homeroom partner, you can always seem to tell whenever we're feeling down and take some time out of your busy schedule to have heart-to-hearts with us that dust us off and lift our spirits time and time again. Even when these subjects tend to be on a less serious note, from slightly outdated pop culture references to personal strategies on how to dominate a chess game, your lighthearted quips and tips on how to deal with life in general never go to waste.

Even in the most challenging times and topics, our class never says no to a fight on this journey to higher knowledge with you as our mentor and guide. With this, 9-Lichauco hopes that our class can somehow give back all the priceless insights and time you have put in for us this Teachers' Day in the form of festivities and tokens, even if such sheer dedication to education cannot be matched with any value. I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude for the tremendous impact you've had on my academic journey, particularly in the realm of science. Before this school year, I must admit that I wasn't particularly fond of science. The complex terminology and extensive memorization made it seem daunting and unapproachable. However, your arrival as my teacher completely transformed my perspective. Your passion for the subject and your innovative teaching methods have made science not only understandable but genuinely enjoyable for me. One of the things I admire most about you is your ability to infuse our lessons with humor and lightheartedness. Your jokes and anecdotes never fail to brighten up our class and make learning an engaging experience. However, what truly sets you apart is your capacity to switch gears and address significant issues with the appropriate level of seriousness. Your versatility as an educator is truly remarkable. In moments of disappointment, such as when our class receives less than desirable grades on tests, your empathy and compassion shine through. Ever since lower school until now, I still love and enjoy the subject of Science. With your way of teaching, you have made me understand and appreciate the subject a lot more. #ScientistEra 🧪 I just want to say thank you for making each and every class entertaining. Your stories from experience, humor and additional facts has always made each session lively. It helped me gain an insightful perspective of life & science, in which I have gratitude for. 😁 Thank you sir for cheering us up whenever we feel down and looking after us. You are one of the best Science teachers I’ve ever had in my 10+ years in MC! 🫶 Your words & teachings will be cherished and will be helpful to us in the future.

You make it seem like teaching comes naturally to you in a field that demands extensive patience, time, and understanding of others, provided its nature. Science is high on memorization, and even beyond that, it takes developing the understanding you have for its branches, so I'm left fascinated by your capacity to store that much knowledge, as someone who does really struggle with it when overloaded with information. It also comes with your way of teaching--making our lessons more digestible and comprehensive through visual aids (I will always talk about the cardiovascular system diagram) and hands-on approaches, ensuring that your students truly understand our lessons by allowing us to work collectively. You don't just carry the responsibility, but you perform it with rigor and passion. The subject you teach is one of the most difficult--many dread it especially when unlucky with one's teaching style, but you disprove its daunting stereotypes and help us make sense of it all. I aspire to be like you one day, not solely in your intellectual attainment, but also in your ability to take life's burdens a little lighter.

Above the scholastic side of things, I most importantly thank you, sir, for caring for us, for listening to our sorrows, for generously giving recit points, for all the dad jokes and side remarks that have made school more bearable for us, for never getting tired of our antics, for breakdancing in class on impulse (you dabbing may have gone around), for the countless lessons you have imparted in the most unconventional ways, for reminding us about our school events, and for being there when we felt that the world was against us. Whenever I become vocal about the worries we have, you provide us with the voice to speak them out, and the conversations that bear understanding and compassion towards the things we go through. Thank you, for putting yourself in our shoes, too. I appreciate the extra lengths you take for the class. You are not just any teacher, but in you can we find a great friend.

Not once has there been a moment of silence during your class from your constant display of humor. There are too many anecdotes, memories, and stories to recall and ramble about, but that's because they're all too remarkable! Although you present yourself with many notable aspects, your silly demeanor is what we will always remember you for, and even if we do stand by the fact that you are, indeed, awkwardly corny, that is what makes you cool! So be your true self, and continue to crack more jokes.

You have emphasized multiple times that you "can't comfort others" because you "can't even comfort yourself", but you have never failed to make our days better. As the long weekend comes, be kind to yourself by taking the extra day to rest, or perhaps do your favorite pastimes. Thank you for teaching us to believe in ourselves, and for helping us see the beauty in the face of chaos and hardship. You deserve to watch all the anime shows you can this holiday.

You may say that you will never forget me as your teacher, nor forget these lessons and jokes of mine. But one day, when you grow older, one day, you're going to forget.

One day, You will forget me as your teacher, and all these lessons you learned, and the moments that we shared.

But what you will never forget, is that, once in your life, you were in High School, and you were once in a science class. You were once in a science class of your sensei.

And I hope you'll remember at least one thing: That you were happy learning science, and that you had fun.

Please remember the fun times of your Junior High School days before a lot of us part ways next year for Senior High.

I guess that is all I'll ever ask.
