went to a private kindergarten so I struggled to make friends in elementary school since everyone knew each other because of this my parents tried putting me in other activities outside of school but all of them I never enjoyed

Soccer

began soccer in 4th grade and it became a passion. I played all the way until my sophomore year where I had to cut my season short due to me having to get foot surgery.where they said I probably wont ever be able to play soccer the same. Unfortunately they were correct and I had to quit junior year due to the pain

COVID 19 had a really big impact on me and my struggle for learning. Covid really impact not only my social life but my education, seeing how teachers struggled to teach us kids and trying to get back into things when we were able to go back to school truly made me want to become a teacher

high school

my love for teaching began, I started working at a daycare and FULLY fell in love with working with kids. I then began to babysit on weekends, this lead to me to realizing I wanted to be an elementary school teacher

senior year I joined a teaching class where I was able to student teach with Mrs O at an elementary school, I then new I fully wanted to go to college for teaching and thats why I chose high point

I chose high point because of the many opportunities I would receive being an education major, I start student teaching this month and ive never been so excited to truly begin my teaching career
