On 31 August  1957, is the date on which independence has taken place in our country. The announcement of independence at the Stadium Merdeka , Kuala Lumpur and declared by our first prime minister Tunku Abdul Rahman with the inclusion of 'Merdeka'  7 times. In addition, the other symbol of independence is the flag of Malaysia called Jalur Gemilang . This flag has 4 colors that symbolize various purposes. This flag was created by Encik Mohamad bin Hamzah, who is a architect’s Johor. Next, for all this year Malaysia has reached 60 years of independence so we should not neglect ourselves from remembering our country. Next, a lot of history has taken place before independence. Every year in 31 August, the malaysians will surely make preparations to celebrate this historic day. This is for growing and sowing deeper love for the country. Among them are, former figures are willing to stand for the struggle for independence. Lastly, we need to be grateful because Malaysia is a peaceful country free from colonialism today.
