One day - there was a HUGE Holstein cow in the middle of the road and Oscar tried to jump out the window. Jonathan had Oscar's harness on & had put his leash under his leg to prevent a mishap. It was a funny day.

I kind of messed up the door on the Lincoln - so the window became the door - but, oh well.

Lewis, it is so great to watch you drawing like a kid! and it is really inspiring ! so cool! and I try to get to wonky lines again ....

I thought a long time about the motiv for the first lesson and finally came up with something- and i can name a few things I screwed up with - like the camels - and the wondercarpet- but what the heck it was fun ! wishing you all a great week....

This piece is done for now… you never know I may come back and tinker with some other adds of little bits and pieces in the vast underworld of beautiful Oceans. [If the sketchbook is still here... 'the little' (god child) is planning to take it home with her to the other coast 😝]

All but the diver (royalty-free collage ephemera), is all my art. The shark was a favorite drawing from years ago, and the octopus sculpture was an Artist Proof from even longer ago. I like taking bits of art that stay with me, “out” - on to other adventures in pieces as collage elements.

Thank you for a fun class that the little one and I enjoyed @Lewis and so much fun to also see your work @Karla, @Sabine, @Nicola… I will continue checking back in to see more of your work and who knows - I may post one or two more pop-ups that I will make, since it’s been brewing in my mind while I made the ones I made during this workshop.

I sat in a grade school's desk with attached chair in our front yard and used the 'Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain' book to draw the house.

Shar-pei's have been part of our lives for 26 years when we first adopted "Jack" from a kill shelter in 1999. After him, we fell in love with the breed. They aren't like 'other dogs' as they don't 'fetch' - will find a window anywhere in a house to look out of it - and are both loyal and stubborn.

Idaho. When he was a year old he jumped out of a window upstairs and started hanging out on the roof. People driving by would often ring our doorbell. When we answered, they would say, "Did you know there's a dog on your roof?"

We did. Wherever I went to either the front or back yard - Oscar would follow me up on the roof. He was a super cool dog. I'm hoping to write a children's book about him one day.

This is a made up story. When I was a kid my mom taught us to use our imaginations. Thanks to her, I have a vivid one.

This is another 'made up story.' Thanks to you, Lewis, for being such a creative and excellent teacher - my mind went a little bonkers drawing, cutting, and creating these fun ideas and contraptions. This class was so entertaining.
