         <description><![CDATA[<p>Capital: Cardiff</p><p>Inhabitants: 3.063.456 (2011)</p><p>Wales was previously a Principality because it was governed by a Prince of Wales. Today the term only exist to honer the Prince of Wales.</p><p>It surprises us that Wales, as a nation part of the UK, has its own national assembly.&nbsp;</p><p>It pleases us that they do have their own national assembly so that they can make decisions independent from the other nations.</p><p>Wales got their national assembly in 1998. It consists of 60 members which are elected every four years.&nbsp;</p><p>When The National Assembly of Wales was created they got the right to administrate the state budget of Wales.</p><p>Wales is not a very political country. The landscape, the language, the people and the values are what makes Wales what it is.</p>]]></description>

1) It's surprising how disrespectful the crowd are - they're laughing and interrupting.</p><p><br>2)London</p><p><br>3)&nbsp;In the England form of government, the Parliament is a legislative body, which reviews the government and proposes new laws. In the England form of government, there are two houses: The House of Lords and the House of Commons</p><p><br>4: The English form of government is a constitutional monarchy, which combines a monarch head of state with a parliamentary system. While we consider the english  government a democracy, which it is in practice, the Queen of England has many roles and is officially the head of state, although in practice, she has little political power.&nbsp;</p><p><br>5: 650 members.</p><p><br>6. they have all benefit of the union.

<p><b>1. discuss what surprises you, and what pleases you about this?&nbsp;</b></p><p>It surprised us how up-to-beat, the parliament were.</p><p>They really worked hard on including the people which was really nice.&nbsp;</p><p><b>2.what institutions has Scotland held on to, despite being in the union?&nbsp;</b></p><p>The Kirk (Church), the legal system, education and healthcare. </p>

<p><b>7.why is it that Alex Salmond no longer leads that party?&nbsp;</b></p><p>He wanted to make the country independent but he didn’t pull off a victory in the referendum so he retired.&nbsp;</p><p><b>8.extra: how well did his party do at the latest elections?&nbsp;</b></p><p>In the election in 2014 it went really well.&nbsp;</p>
<p><b>9.and which other political party might not be too pleased about this, explain why?&nbsp;</b></p>&nbsp;<p>Labour Party might not be so happy about it because SNP got a lot of their votes. </p>
<p><b>10.what, regarding devolution, is foreseen for Scotland in the future?&nbsp;</b></p><p>Alex Salmond thinks there’ll still be a Union but there’ll might be a bigger chance of Scotland gaining their independence.&nbsp;</p>]]></description>
