The name of the book is The Jungle Book, it is a book written by Rudyard Kipling, it was published in 1894 this story is told in the third person, the author intends to express through this story his thoughts and feelings through animals , they play a very important role since they are the ones in charge of letting us know their ideas and ideologies, and they also try to communicate to us the reason for the book, which includes the themes. In the story different types of topics are covered but all are related to the environment and what was happening at that time, in the book several topics of interest are touched, even each animal represents people from different countries and the relationship they had with India at that time. The Jungle It is a very exciting and interesting story, which despite being among children's books is a book that any young person enjoys reading, since even its vocabulary is a little more complicated for elementary school children, apparently this should be a book for high school for grammar and vocabulary. genre types are fiction and children's literature. It is a very beautiful and easy to understand story and apart from that it leaves you with a great message.

This book deals with many topics, for example family: reading the book we realize that despite the difficulties, the animals of the jungle are very united, since many walk-in packs, or consider their friends as family. And those who are blood relatives take more care of the danger of the jungle. Another theme of the book is violence: because some jungle animals are in danger from higher animals, they are always trying to harm them. So, the weakest are always showing their strength. Revenge is very present in the lives of animals, if you do something bad to one of them, you have to know that the others will try to make you pay for it. Law and order are part of the theme since the animals have decreed rules and laws to maintain order and that everything does not get out of control. In the story we can also see the courage and bravery of the animals, they fight hard for what they want, to survive or because something seems unfair to them.

Exposition: the story takes place in the jungle of India and begins when Mowgli was found by Bagheera a black panther, finding him she decided to deliver him to Raksha the mother wolf, so Mowgli grows up with Rakscha's cubs and is also raised by Father Wolf, together they form a family. Here the conflict begins to be pronounced that they want to send Mowgli out of the jungle, and Bagheera is the one who dares to go with him to take him to a man's village for his safety since Shere Khan is dangerous and likes to eat humans.

Rising Action: it was when a python tries to eat Mowgli, but Bagheera prevented it, then Mowgli escapes from Bagheera and joins a herd of elephants then Bagheera finds Mowgli but when he fights Bagheera leaves him alone, but Baloo finds him and decides to help him Then Mowgli is kidnapped by a herd of monkeys led by King Louie.

Climax: it happened when Mowgli and Shere Khan terribly face each other near some giant trees, something happened there suddenly; lightning struck a tree and set the branches on fire along with the tree, Mowgli decided to grab a burning branch and tie it to Shere Khan.

Falling Action: as Shere Khan escaped in fear of the fire, Mowgli, Bagheera, and Baloo continued on their way to the village of men.

Ending: After everything was resolved, Mowgli made the decision to go and stay in the man's village. Baloo and Bagheera were very happy because Mowgli was going to be safe with his people.

Kaa (Round) is an Indian Python (is a big, cold snake, who is scary but is a friend to Mowgly and the others, she helped Bagheera and Baloo save Mowgly.
Akela (Round) is a gray Indian wolf, lonely but fair and kind at the same time. He is the leader of the wolf pack. He is the one who suggests that Mowgly should go to the man village.
Raksha (Static) is the mother wolf who adopts Mowgli, she always defends him and shows him her love, and raises him with her cubs.
Father Wolf (Static) he is a gray Indian wolf and is Mowgli's adoptive father. he protects his family and keeps them safe.
Tabaqui is a golden jackal, he is a fearful animal that gets carried away by someone else's convictions.
Gray wolf (Static) is also an Indian wolf and is the eldest son of Raksha and is a good friend of Mowgli and is always watching over the safety of Mowgly's brother.
Bandar-Log (Static) are the herd of monkeys that are troublesome.

Hyperbole: “There was a heavy snowfall, and now the thaw had started; A fine rain of sleet was falling, driven by a wind that pierced Jurgis to the bone." This is a clear example of hyperbole since the author exaggerates with what he says, and we know that things are not really happening that way.
Metaphor: it would be "Red Flower" that appears the fire and not to call it by its name they give it one that does not sound so dark.
Metaphor: when Bagheera said to Baloo that Mowgli is not a tree to sharpen her claws, so she refers to "Mowgli as Tree" but not literally.

He wants the reader to feel comfortable and happy with the reading, that it be an easy read to understand. He says things that although they seem difficult, they don't feel that way because he makes it decrease a little. There are difficult issues in the story, but they don't seem so heavy because he smooths them out.

Style: he is nonchalant but at the same time emphatic in what he is trying to say and what he wants to leave with the reader.

Mood: the author makes you feel sad and at the same time happy. Exited, anxious and calm also carefree, transparent. That can be seen by the type of sentences that he sometimes uses, with the type of writing and words that he uses makes you enjoy reading, and he leaves you wanting to continue reading.

What light is thrown on the story by its title? Since you read the title of a book you can deduce what it was about, for example when I read the title "The Jungle" I was sure it was going to be about animals and people, in a more violent and strong environment but at the same time kind , comforting.

Did you enjoy reading the book? I really enjoyed reading this book as there were scenes that made me feel nervous, happy, restless, and thoughtful.

What aspects of the book gave you pleasure, and why? It gave me great pleasure when finally, the antagonist of the story suffered a little for everything he had done, it also gave me pleasure to know that Mowgli had already met his kind and was safe.

Does the story chiefly offer escape? purpose? It does offer it because when you start reading you know that the plot will be good because the story is about a human being raised by animals, and you imagine the dangers that he will be exposed to, but you also know that it will help him to be better. so that way you focus so much on the story that you get an escape through it.

Thanks to this story I was able to find out about things that happened in the world when I was not even born, things that were told through the actions of animals. By reading this book I was able to acquire new vocabulary and learn from the grammar that the author used, also the type of figurative language that he used. With these types of issues, you can get to know a lot about a writer.

This is a fictional story since the author states in writing everything that he imagined, and in this way, he reveals specific data that although they are not entirely true, they are similar and with this you can get an idea. The themes, the plot and the characters are very pleasing, mainly the setting since the story takes place in an unusual place. The story leaves you with a great message which is not that difficult to figure out.
