*Coexistencia de culturas que se distinguen por sus particularidades y pretende
el reconocimiento y valoración de todos. Sin embargo, esa coexistencia de culturas no necesariamente evidencia una igualdad de trato, sino genera situaciones de segregación o marginalidad. Comprende la multiculturalidad e interculturalidad.
Interculturalidad
*Integración de las expresiones culturales.
*Fomenta el conocimiento de otras culturas.
*Acepta la condición social característica de un individuo(creencias, costumbres, ideologías).
*Considera que la diversidad cultural(diferencias) aportan a la sociedad.
*Se acepta la diversidad.
*Genera situaciones de interacción y trato equitativo entre los grupos sociales.
*Tendencia a reconocer y aceptar las manifestaciones culturales de otros contextos.
