When we swallow food, it drops from the Esophagus into the stomach. The stomach contains acid that helps break down the food better. This makes it easier to go through the intestines.

Small Intestine allows for the food being digested to absorb all of the key nutrients that the body needs every day to function.

Large Intestine also known as the colon is where it absorbs all of the salt that is in the food being digested. It also takes all of the water inside the food and absorbs it into the body.

The heart is an organ that allows itself to pump blood throughout the circulatory system.

Blood Vessels are what the blood in the body moves through. This is a system of veins and arteries that get blood pumped to them allows for the body parts to get blood flow.

Blood is fluid that runs through our bodies to keep it moving and allow for humans to have the proper amount of blood flow.

The lungs can be found on each side of the heart underneath the ribcage. Lungs are in charge of breathing. When we inhale the oxygen comes through to the lungs and the lungs are in charge of getting rid of the carbon dioxide when we exhale. This makes sure out body does not breathe in carbon dioxide as it can be lethal.

The diaphragm sits below the lungs. This allows for the chest to rise and fall. When we take a deep breath, the diaphragm moves down to allow for our lungs to inflate. But when we exhale it moves back up to allow for our lungs to deflate.

The trachea is also known as the windpipe. This long tubelike structure moves the air we breathe in to go directly to the lungs instead of into our stomach's.

The thyroid gland helps produce hormones that balance metabolism and how we grow.

Pancreas is also a part of the digestion process, but it makes insulin. The insulin is than distributed throughout the body to maintain a good sugar levels.

Ovaries are in charge of making estrogen that helps the women's reproductive parts work. While testes make testosterone. This is the main part of the male's hormones.

Each one of these parts of the musculoskeletal system plays an important role in the body.

Bones are what make up the skeletal system inside of our body. Bones protect all of the organs we need to survive. It also protects them from injury. Bones help maintain the posture of how a person stands, sits, or lays down.

Muscles are found inside of the bones. This is what is connected to the bones and allow for them to move. This lets us run, jump, and walk every day. Muscles also help maintain a certain temperature that the body stays at.

Cartilage is what you would find around the tops of our ears. It is also found between each bone inside the body, prevents the bones from rubbing together. If your bones were to rub together constantly it would cause a great amount of pain.

The brain controls the major functions of the body such as motor and sensory skill. It also in the main organ inside of the body that does most of the work. Including thinking, working, and using your body parts.

The spinal cord is what connects the brain to the lower back. This is what allows for the brain to communicate to the rest of the body. It sends signals for us as humans that we are thinking, and we do it.

Autonomic System is also a part of the nervous system which allows for the body to keep the heart rate the same. It also has the job of helping us breathe and digest our food in the proper way.

The spleen is an important part of the body as it allows for the body to filter all of the blood cells and removes any unknown toxins that could cause an infection.

Tonsils and Appendix are both organs inside of the body. They sometimes work together to make sure the body tries to fight off any infection or sickness. They also work to help fight off a respiratory infection.

When intercourse happens, the sperm travels through the fallopian tubes in order to get to the uterus. In the fallopian tube is also where the fertilization of the egg happens.

Inside of the uterus the fertilized sperm egg plants itself inside. This allows for the egg to start growing.

Prostate glands are where the fluid to produce sperm are found. This is also how the sperm is able to move into the right place.

Epididymis is the final step after the sperm is transported to. They are stored there until they go into the Vas Deferens.
