This United Nation Sustainable Development Goal should be given more focus because currently, the situation in Abuyog is not very appealing to tourists. Abuyog is also known for its wonderful beaches. However as of the moment, residents of Abuyog are not very responsible when it comes to disposing their trash properly. The beaches that are supposed to beautiful in order to attract tourists are now full of plastic bottles and plastic containers which affects the life below water and the quality of water. Before, the beach used to be in a shade of blue but right now, the water in most of the beaches are color brown due to the trashes of littering residents.

Due to the improper disposal of trash, a little rain can cause flash floods because the sewers are clogged with trash. When this Sustainable Development Goal is looked on, Abuyog can be restored to its glory and attract tourists once again.
