  • What are you most looking forward to learning about in this course? 
    • The section that goes over teacher attitudes and behaviors that influence behavior of individuals with exceptionalities. Because I am a paraprofessional at my local elementary school.


  • What is you biggest concern about taking this course? 
    • I have never been a big fan of writing papers so hopefully that will turn out to be ok and also be a a chance for me to hone my writing skills.


  • What are two personal learning goals for SPED 389?
    • I myself have a learning disability, so things like this are always very interesting to me. I like to learn about others who struggle and try to see life through their perspective.
    • I am currently pursuing a special education degree and this is the first class I am taking outside of generals for that degree.


  • Any additional information, resources, you would like to share?
    • YES! I strongly suggest this outlining tool called Workflowy. It has really helped me organize my brain and my life. It works really well with writing papers and taking notes in college.
