         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li>All acids will release hydrogen ions into solutions</li><li>Acids are chemical agents that release hydrogen ions when added to water</li><li>The pH scale is a scale that is used to represent the level of acidity in a solution.</li><li>(An example) A solution with a pH of 7 is neutral, while a solution with a pH below 7 is an acid, and a solution with a pH above 7 is a base. </li><li>More hydrogen ions equals a lower pH and a more acidic solution</li><li>A liquid is an acid or base depends on the type of ions in it. If it has a lot of hydrogen ions, then it is an acid.          <description><![CDATA[<div><br>YouTube Videos<br> <a href="https://youtu.be/Hkm42VFT0_4">https://youtu.be/Hkm42VFT0_4</a></div><div><br><br>-  Fuel resources that our planet hold is exhaustible and will end in the coming future. <br>- Approximately 90% of our energy requirement are met by fossil fuels<br>- The primary fuel that is used in our vehicles is direct mainly from crude oil known as petroleum</div><div>- Crude oil (petroleum) is a non-renewable resource for the highfalutin level of co2 and hazardous </div><div>- Refining petroleum creates air pollutions harmful for humans and the environment   </div><div>- During the process of drilling, transporting and use of oils, there are risks of spillage which harms the environment. </div><div>Three common alternative fuels are, hydrogen, electricity and biodiesel</div><div><br>Hydrogen<br>- Emissions-free fuel <br>- Half the hydrogen produced today is derived from natural gas<br>- Emits only water vapor and warm air into the atmosphere when used<br>-  Stores up to 3x as much energy as conventional natural gas<br>- If used in a car, it would take comparatively less to fill it up than a car running on standard fuel due to the hydrogen fuel cell efficiency<br><br>Electricity <br>- Electric cars and 80% more efficient than gasoline cars ( kinetic energy is not wasted but harnessed and turned back into electricity )  <br><br>Biodiesel <br>- Derived from Soy bean, sunflowers, corn, olive, peanut, palm, coconut and animal fats<br>- Has same vehicular performance as Diesel <br>- Economical fuel source<br>- It is sulfur free<br>- Completely renewable fuel source<br>- Can be produced from vegetable oils, animal fats and recycled restaurant grease<br>Advantages <br>- Less harmful than conventional diesel <br>- If spills causes far less damage then petroleum diesel <br>- Less combustible and derived from organic materials <br>- High flash point (safe to handle, stored and transported)<br><br>Alcohol fuels <br>- They are convenient fuels for storing and transporting energy<br>- Is a renewable energy source<br>- Can be produced from a variety of feedstock such as sugar cane, potatoes, sweet potatoes, molasses, corn, etc<br>- Is a particulate-free burning fuel source</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong><em>Rust is a very dangerous substance on earth it has knocked down many things such as bridges, poles, it has nearly caused reactor meltdowns. Rust has also shut down the largest oil pipelines, damages many military jets and ships and has torn many things apart.<br></em></strong><br></div><div><strong><em>The cause of rust is water vapour (H2O) and oxygen (O2), when these two substances come together and make rust, rust also forms when iron is exposed to the oxygen in the air and water.<br></em></strong><br></div><div><strong>Rust reduces the product lifespan:<br></strong><br></div><div><strong>Rust can have a big effect in the lifespan of different products, if products contain large amounts of rust they need to be replaced or repaired, When rust gets inot the iron it weakens the metal by reducing the total mass, so after the rusting the iron is no longer as strong as when it started therefore it may not be able to hold the same amount of weight.<br></strong><br></div><div><strong>Why do metals rust?</strong></div><div><strong>Metals rust because iron oxide if formed when iron combines with oxygen and water, many metals rust because iron reacts with the oxygen and air easily.</strong></div><div><strong>&nbsp;</strong></div><div><strong>What is rust?&nbsp;</strong></div><div><strong>Rust is and red/orange or brown substance that’s called iron oxide, iron oxygen is found almost everywhere, when metals has been exposed to the oxygen and water.</strong></div><div><figure class="attachment attachment-preview" data-trix-attachment='{"contentType":"image","height":340,"url":null,"width":595}' data-trix-content-type="image"><img width="595" height="340" src=""><figcaption class="caption"></figcaption></figure></div><div><br></div><div>Video I found:&nbsp;<br><br></div><div><a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qd2B9yCKzc0">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qd2B9yCKzc0<br></a><br></div><div>Start it at: 30 seconds into the video.<br><br></div><div>You don’t have to watch the whole thing&nbsp;<br><br></div>]]></description>
