However, on the day shift breaks are not always taken on time delaying everyone else. A job list in the day would work just as well, and taking breaks is important for staff well-being.

Sitting at the desk there are constant interruptions from medics, other members of staff, families and the phone. Taking patients back from theatre after 19:00 is unsafe. Maybe, we could allocate time (the same way we allocate breaks) for each person to go into the office/any other quiet space to finish their notes for 10 minutes without interruption.

I do also think the idea of getting 10 mins away from the desk or a designated computer/desk for nurses to do notes/tasks/referrals would be really helpful especially on day shifts with all the teams around!
