These skills form the foundation for a child’s overall wellbeing, learning, and future success.</p><p>Key areas of SE competencies include:</p><ol><li><p><strong>Self-Awareness</strong> – Recognising one’s own feelings, strengths, and needs.</p></li><li><p><strong>Self-Management</strong> – Controlling emotions, handling stress, and staying motivated.</p></li><li><p><strong>Social Awareness</strong> – Understanding and showing empathy for others.</p></li><li><p><strong>Relationship Skills</strong> – Building positive friendships, communicating clearly, and resolving conflicts.</p></li><li><p><strong>Responsible Decision-Making</strong> – Making thoughtful, safe, and fair choices.</p></li></ol><p>When children develop strong SE skills, they are better able to cope with challenges, interact positively with others, and grow into resilient, compassionate individuals.</p>]]></description>
