"Five Stars" is a group of five women united by their love of learning English. Graduated in 2024, each member brings their unique skills and perspectives, making studies more dynamic and fun. Together, they help each other improve conversation, vocabulary and grammar, creating a strong and motivating friendship. The group is not just about learning English, but also about growing and achieving goals together, always supporting each other and encouraging each other to shine.
Each of them brings something special to the group:
• Anyela Costa is 28 years old, she is the leader of the group, always ready to organize and motivate the others. Her determination and focus are inspiring.
• Angélica Silva is 43 years old, she is the creative one of the group, bringing innovative and fun ideas to study sessions. Her spontaneous way makes learning easier and more interesting.
• Patricia Rodrigues is 47 years old, she is the calmest, with a unique ability to explain difficult concepts in a simple way. She loves correcting details and making sure everyone is mastering their grammar correctly.
• Paula Faria is 43 years old, she is the most communicative and confident. Her ability to speak helps the group to improve their oral practice, always encouraging everyone to speak without fear of making mistakes.
• Ana Marques is 41 years old, she is the friendliest one of the group, always with a smile on her face and willing to help. Her welcoming and patient manner makes the study environment lighter and more pleasant, encouraging everyone to feel free to learn and make mistakes without fear.
Together, these five women form an unbeatable team, always supporting each other and celebrating each other's progress!

We decided to visit Venezuela, as our friend Anyela is from that country, and she is always talking about the country's beaches, food and landscapes.
Venezuela is in the north of South America, bordering Colombia, Brazil, Guyana and the Caribbean Sea.
The capital is Caracas, located near the Caribbean Sea, being the political and economic center of the country.
The official language is Spanish, although there are also indigenous languages.
Venezuelan culture is a mix of indigenous, African and Spanish influences. Traditional music, such as joropo and merengue, is very popular, as are festivals, particularly Carnival. Baseball is the most practiced sport.
Typical dishes include arepas (stuffed cornbread), pabellón criollo (rice, shredded meat, beans and fried plantains) and hallacas (Venezuelan tamales). Drinks include natural juices and rum.

Big Ben is the largest four-faced clock in the world, located on the banks of the River Thames in the central region. Our third destination: The Tower Bridge was built in 1894 over the River Thames and is a drawbridge. It has been the setting for several films, such as London Has Fallen. Our fourth destination: Buckingham Palace, which is 26 minutes by metro from the Hotel. But we were unable to visit the inside as visits are only between July and October. End of our trip. Back to Portugal with the feeling of a dream come true. Now it's time to prepare the next adventure for the four adventurers.

Pabellón criollo is the national dish of Venezuela, a dish full of traditional and symbolic flavors. It consists of white rice, shredded meat (usually cooked beef, known as "carne mechada"), black beans, and fried plantains. It is a simple but very tasty meal that reflects the mix of indigenous, African, and Spanish influences in Venezuelan cuisine.

"Quesillo". Quesillo is a type of condensed milk pudding that is very popular in the country. The recipe is simple, made with condensed milk, eggs, milk, sugar, and vanilla essence. The preparation process is very similar to that of flan, but with a denser and creamier texture. Quesillo is cooked in a bain-marie, which gives it a smooth consistency and a sweet, velvety flavor. It is often served with caramel on top, which slowly melts as it is eaten.

As for drinks, agua panela is a popular drink in Venezuela, especially on cold days. It is made from panela sugar (a solid block of unrefined sugar) diluted in hot water. Sometimes lemon, cinnamon or other spices are added to give it a special touch. The drink has a sweet and comforting flavor.

As for traditional alcoholic drinks, one of the best known is Venezuelan rum. Venezuela has a long history of producing high-quality rum, with several renowned brands. Rum is consumed in many ways, the most common being served neat, with ice, or in cocktails, such as the "Cuba Libre" (rum with Coca-Cola and lemon). A more typical drink is the "Coco Loco", which mixes rum with coconut milk, orange juice and other tropical ingredients, reflecting the warm, tropical climate of the region.

These drinks and dishes are part of everyday Venezuelan culture, and are consumed on many occasions and social gatherings.

Hotel & Suites to El Ávila National Park, Caracas, Venezuela

Anyela: Hi, I'm staying at the Eurobuilding Hotel & Suites and I wanted to visit El Ávila National Park. Can you help me with directions?

Receptionist: Sure, Anyela! It's very simple. When you leave the hotel, you'll follow Francisco de Miranda Avenue heading east.

Anyela: Ok, what next?

Receptionist: Keep going until you reach a large roundabout. There, keep going straight and turn left onto El Ávila Avenue. You'll see signs indicating the direction to the park.

Anyela: I see, so the entrance to the park is easy to find?

Receptionist: Yes, it's quite visible! Then, you'll reach the base of the park, where you can catch the cable car that takes you to the top of El Ávila. If you prefer, you can also choose to walk up, using trails, but the cable car is quite comfortable and has an incredible view.

Anyela: Perfect, thanks for your help! It's going to be a great visit.

Receptionist: You're welcome, Anyela! I'm sure you'll love the park. Enjoy!
