The drone wasn't connecting to the program.

SOLUTION: We needed to activate the connection with a phone with the app.

Sometimes you just have to go for it and try.

When switching from phone to controller, speed on drone was more sensitive.

Issue: command length/height was outside of parameters but it wasn't very specific in saying so.

Solution: After a few tries we realized what it was saying and changed the command from 2in to 8in.

Make sure the drone ordination is in the correct position in order to give proper instructions.

When going through obstacle courses, know that the down draft from the drone will effect landing precision.

Coding a pathway

Coding a pathway was challenging, I thought could program the whole thing and fly through the obstacle. Solution: Program in chunks, try it out and adjust as needed.

Problem: Ran program several times and found that drone took different paths; off by a few inches every time.

Solution: Be patient, run and problem solve. What are the variables, wind, battery life, etc.? Sometimes allowing the program to run without any interference will allow program to work better.

The drone seems like someone else is controlling it.

SOLUTION: Make sure the controller is disconnected from the phone before passing the controller to the next team.
