         <description><![CDATA[<div>Michigan has 3,288 miles of shoreline.  This means Michigan has a lot of beaches!  Over 1,700 of that shoreline is in the Upper Peninsula. One of the best beaches is Miner's Beach in the Painted Rocks National Lakeshore.
