My Role Model: Sabrina Carpenter

A role model is someone who inspires you, influences your life in a meaningful way, and helps you grow as a person. For me, that person is Sabrina Carpenter. She is not only an incredibly talented singer, songwriter, and actress, but also someone who spreads positivity and strength through her music and words.

In 2022, I went through a difficult time and struggled with self-harm. During that period, Sabrina’s music became a source of comfort for me. Her song Because I Liked a Boy stood out in particular, as it spoke about facing judgment and staying strong despite negativity. Listening to her music helped me feel understood, and it reminded me that I wasn’t alone in what I was going through.
