·the meaning of the word activism.

The word comes from "Active". means the policy or action of using vigorous campaigning to bring about political or social change.Activism consists of efforts to promote, impede, direct, or intervene in social, political, economic, legal, or environmental reform with the desire to make changes in society toward a perceived greater good.
·Write a definition of activism in your own words (do not copy directly from a dictionary) that covers all possible meanings.

My definition: Someone has a very strong idea and desire to change or finish something. Act regardless of obstacles, form or participate in organizations in order to make this idea a reality. Activist is the leader in the organization and expresses their own opinions and speeches, which are usually radical and critical. Their purpose is usually to change the current situation and cause change. This kind of action may be done by one person or by a group. The definition of activism is broad, including political activism, artistic activism and so on.

·Create examples to illustrate these meanings.

In the New Culture Movement, Chinese scholars held high the two flags of democracy and science in order to change the Chinese people's ignorance and feudal superstition. However, many of them had a tendency of absolute denial and absolute affirmation of Chinese and Western culture. I think it's called activism.

·Study the meaning of art activism.

· In my opinion, the study of artistic behaviorism has two meanings: first, art form is the root of aesthetic meaning; Second, abstract forms are pure art forms. Its purpose is to study the internal structure and external appearance of works of art. The change of art works is the change of form, and art history is the history of form change. The value of a work of art lies in its form.

Write a definition of artistic activism in your own words (not straight from the dictionary) that covers all possible meanings.

I think art formalism usually refers to anarchism and other artistic reflections that express the autonomy of art

And the independence of artistic structure, also expresses the essence of art activism is abstract

Create an example to illustrate these implications.

For example, post-impressionism takes formalist art to the extreme, almost regardless of any subject matter and content. In terms of artistic expression, post-impressionism lays more emphasis on the relationship of composition, believing that artistic images should be different from the objects in life, and that the subjective feelings of the author should be used to transform the objective objects and show the "subjectively objective". They focus on expressing the concreteness, stability and internal structure of matter.

1、me too

#MeToo) is a tag widely circulated on social media after the sexual harassment incident of Harvey Enstein in October 2017 for personal sexual assault and sexual harassment. The social sports activity Tara Burke began this scene in the previous years of use, and was then widely announced by Mary Aisha Milano. Milan publicly promised to encourage women to be assaulted on Twitter Zilai Such users use hashtags and are openly unhappy, including many frequently used topics.

2、Ai Weiwei

Without going into the politics behind Syrian conflict (which has lasted for almost six years now), we can only shake our heads in disbelief as we see just how many people’s lives have been lost and how many destroyed. Countless faceless and nameless men, women, and children, barely escaping from becoming a collateral damage in the war, tried finding a safe place in Europe. Ai Weiwei has recognized the gravity of the situation and has been involved in the European refugee crisis for many months now. He is constantly criticizing the European and the global response to the crisis. As he recently told The Guardian: “These people have nothing to do with Europe; they are like people from outer space, but they have to come. They have been pushed out and they are being totally neglected by Europe. They are sleeping in the mud and rain and it is only volunteers giving them food or clothes.”[3] The artist has described the EU-Turkey deal as illegal and immoral, shameful, underlining the fact it’s not a solution, but a source for further problems (EU-Turkey agreement allow the Greek and EU FRONTEX border teams to stop the influx of refugees into Greece, forcing them back to Turkey, while the European countries would accept refugees from Turkey based on quota system agreed among the EU member states. Turkey received billions of Euros as aid). He visited refugee camp Idomeni in Northern Greece, where thousands of people are trapped after the so-called Balkan Route was closed. Ai pulled his works out of Denmark when the Danish parliament passed the law allowing the authorities to confiscate valuables and cash from migrants in order to cover the cost of their care. He set up a studio on the Greek island of Lesvos (also known as Lesbos), stating: “This is a very historical moment from any perspective. As an artist I want to be more involved, I want to create artworks in relation to the crisis and also create some kind of consciousness about the situation.”

3、Yoko Ono

Yoko Ono has been, without a doubt, one of the most misunderstood artists in the past 60 years. It is her massive fame, association with the Beatles, and heal-the-world rhetoric that have obscured her groundbreaking contributions to the world of art of the 1960s and beyond. Her wide-ranging artistic expression encompasses film, sculpture, text, performance, music and artwork. Although eclectic in nature, her work has been often greeted with incomprehension, mockery and even rage. Her work has always been an indivisible element of her activism and life-long mission of communicating with the world at large. Despite the often hostile response, Ono has won the Lifetime Achievement Award in the Observer Ethical Awards for her activism lasting over half a century. Her combined work has been exhibited in a unique show at The Museum of Modern Art, entitled Yoko Ono: One Woman Show, 1960-1970, the exhibition featured Ono’s artistic practices and her involvement in the Feminist movement. As she explained, art represents a way of showing people how you can think, and even though some people think of it as a beautiful wallpaper that you can sell, Yoko Ono rather perceives it as a direct connection with activism. Her style often included “dematerialization of the art object,” which is a phrase that would only come to use when the critic Lucy Lippard employed it to talk about the practice of turning away from objects and towards ideas. So, even before this phrasing, Ono created artworks that could exist in a variety of idea-oriented context. From sumi-ink paintings on unstretched canvas, where one is burned, another placed on the ground and another drips with water, to different artworks that could exist as mere instructions, to be executed once, multiple times, or even never.

I think campus life should be relatively quiet and calm，Suitable for serious academic research and thinking. The classical academic atmosphere and deep religious tradition in the university can make people stay away from secular disputes. Such pure learning is really great. Moreover, I think the weather in the United Kingdom is sunny after frequent rains, so that a rainbow hangs in the sky from time to time, which makes people happy to watch. I think in the first week in the UK, I will experience the rainy weather, feel the strong British culture, and then contact with some British students, I will feel their politeness and etiquette, try to integrate into the British culture, of course, I think I will also have a strong homesickness, I hope I can have a good memory of studying in the UK. Maybe I will make friends in the UK, maybe I can feel the British gentleman poise, maybe I can feel the beauty of a rainbow after the rain, will leave me to study hard in the British library, in the beautiful town of city feel the friendly and home to the country, I think the most important thing is, I can completely get over the jet lag. Finally, I really look forward to studying abroad in the UK.

I think I will put my environmental graffiti on the manhole cover of the school. What I want to convey is the connection between the social problem of littering and graffiti works. Manhole covers can be seen everywhere. The manhole covers are "hole patches" on the urban pavement, and they always give a stereotyped impression. The manhole cover can also be "integrated" with the road surface, and can also serve as an overall visual embellishment to become a different kind of scenery. When it comes to the art of manhole covers, this is great. Most people who know this will immediately think of a country-Japan. The Japanese walk on the street, they only need to look at the manhole cover to know where they are. Although we are not particularly familiar with Japan, and we cannot completely infer the names of places in Japan through manhole covers, we can understand the local characteristics at a glance. But the works they painted on the manhole cover are conservative pictures. I think there should be more influential works in order to have more powerful publicity. So I think the manhole cover is undoubtedly an important carrier of my propaganda. If the government does not pay attention to protecting the environment, it will worsen environmental pollution, but I think the old-fashioned notification report will make people feel depressed. In China, people will not be very interested in the document report, or even ignore it. If exaggerated graffiti is impressive and touching, this is the impact of art works on society, and why I put my work on school manhole covers. Because manhole covers can be seen everywhere, exaggerated graffiti works will make people deeply feel the importance of protecting the environment. sex. I think the school’s open day is to promote my protection of the environment. I think the school’s open day is an important condition for me to promote the protection of the environment, so that more people will see graffiti calling for the protection of the environment, and they will be touched. My work contributes a little to the problem of environmental pollution, and the school is full of artistic sense, and more people will visit it. I also hope that everyone can really be touched and really attach importance to environmental protection.

I think I need to complete a radical work for this project, and I need to use various art forms, such as graffiti, posters and sculptures, etc. I will look for inspiration in other artists’ projects and some behavioral studies, and I will also study some issues To create works of art, for example, littering can cause air pollution, water pollution, fires, infectious diseases, etc. Through the research of these issues, I can provide documentation for the project, and I also need to master criticalism. Thinking, basic artistic ability, sensitivity to materials, aesthetic ability, social issues and connection skills of artistic works, these are also abilities that I lack. I will also strengthen these abilities while doing this project. I think the completion of this project will greatly improve my artistic ability, and it will also allow me to learn critical thinking and redefine artistic works. But I am very worried that due to my lack of abilities, the incompleteness of my work and the lack of intent of the work will be caused. The art work does not meet the requirements, but I am looking forward to making the work. I am nervous and excited, and I really want to complete this exciting and perfect adventure. ! I think maybe I have never come into contact with radical works, and I have no experience in doing it, which makes me worried, and I am very worried about the problem of the work not meeting the requirements and the meaning of the work. But to do well, I need to keep studying, read references, read more works of radical artists, and broaden my thinking. I said that I can have lunch on the lawn and do whatever I want to do. I think that during the lunch break, Bask in the sun on the grass, have a delicious lunch, and feel the warmth of the sun in rainy Britain. The second is the table next to the basketball game. There are many beautiful flowers. Drinking a cup of coffee there and watching the fierce basketball game should be very beautiful. The third is the student exhibition. I think it is a treasure of inspiration. A lot of excellent works are displayed there, and there is a warm dormitory. You can create a warm dormitory of your own. I think one is also my favorite. The school will also have many studios, such as your own personal studio and plaster room. , Handmade building area, illustration workshop, these facilities are really cool, these facilities surprise me, thank you for listening.

There have been various and conflicting interpretations of this bizarre work of art, but one thing is certain: Duchamp's "ready-made art" directly contributed to the popularity of conceptual art today. For this reason, this ordinary everyday object has been named the world's most influential modern work of art by The British.
The other is Matthew Barney's Fortress, the latest in a series created between 2016 and 2019. The exhibition presents a two-hour video of the same name, which tells the story of borzoi in the Sawtooth Mountains of Idaho, based on the theme of "hunting" and its associated mythology and art. This work is not a simple artistic conception, but is closely connected with the complex political events and issues of the Current United States. The image and story of the film can be considered as a metaphor and representation of reality. The heroine, Arnette Wachett, is the National Rifle Association's shooting champion, and the debate in Idaho over whether the borzois should be borzois has generated headlines on both sides of the aisle.

But the fact that Trafalgar Square, one of Britain's most famous and busiest, is still quiet because of the pandemic makes the work even more dystopian. "When the crowd returns, the response to the piece will change," philipsson said.
Mr. Phillipson said he chose the cream form because it symbolized lavish abundance and celebration, yet was always on the verge of collapse. Just as "Trafalgar Square" has a special political significance, it is also the site of protest rallies as well as celebrations in Britain. Beneath the seemingly joyous celebration, there was profound unease.
Although she is not a household name, that does not detracted from her status as a prominent British artist, whose work includes video, sculpture, music, painting and poetry. She has also been commissioned by Tate Britain to create works of art in the DUVEEN GALLERIES at its heart.

I like David Shrigley works most, because I like his unique black humor and absurd surrealism very much. Behind his seemingly cynical work lies the artist's understanding of the world and his attack on cliches. Reflects the absurdity of contemporary society. He opened up the right to interpret his work to every participant. The artist has deliberately abandoned the academic complexity of technique, and his work is often simple and direct, almost gross, like this towering thumb.

I'm not a big fan of gift horses, because I kind of don't understand the depth of the sculpture, and I don't understand the meaning behind it.

Radical art is a strong dissatisfaction with the organization and operation of the existing society, a radical negation of the existing social system, and an urgent desire to make radical, drastic and immediate changes to the society.

From carrier to self-expression, from external form to internal implication, from self-expression to release of creativity, public artworks all highlight the vitality of materials as an art design language. It is an important part of radicalism. Urban public artworks in the new era need new language and new forms to have a dialogue with The Times, the environment and the public in different backgrounds. On the other hand, artists and designers know materials, understand their properties and feel the beauty of materials. On the premise of exploring the internal laws of materials, they can realize the correct choice and rational use of materials, foster strengths and avoid weaknesses, and achieve the unity of content and form of materials and public art works, as well as the harmony between public art works and environment.

I think the Fourth Plinth is a must-see for radicalism. Located in Trafalgar Square in London, it is a representative platform for the display of contemporary public art. The emergence of this platform shows the symbiotic relationship and complex connection between contemporary art and public art. The research on the generation mechanism, the form of works, the way of public participation and other issues around this platform includes both the ontological issues of public art and the general issues of social participation of contemporary art. The practice of public art is undoubtedly of theoretical value and practical significance.

I think she wants to express the social significance and power of "useful art". We should make works of art that are beneficial to society and have deep meanings behind them.

I agree with Ai Weiwei's definition of art, everything needs to be based on morality, and any radical work is to attack the darkness of society instead of destroying it and harming the public interest

An artist is an artistic worker who has high aesthetic ability and skilled creative skills and is engaged in artistic creation and has certain achievements. People who create works of art usually refer to those who have high achievements in such artistic fields as writing, painting, photography, performance, sculpture, music, calligraphy and dance, so as to have a certain degree of aesthetics. ; Not only in the field of art, film and television in the field of artistic creation as their professional career, but also including in their own career engaged in artistic creation. He is a creator of artistic works originating from nature and originating from the soul.

From the background of Picasso's creation, this paper writes about his inspiration and intention of creation, and introduces the difference of painting style and color, and finally introduces the symbolic meaning of painting.
In early 1937, Picasso received a commission from the Spanish Republic to create a decorative oil painting for the Spanish pavilion at the World's Fair in Paris. On April 26, 1937, the Luftwaffe bombed the Basque town of Guernica in northern Spain. Three hours of German bombing, killing and injuring many civilians, flattened Guernica. This crime of the German army aroused the condemnation of international public opinion. Picasso was indignant and decided to use this event as the subject of oil painting to express his protest against the war criminals and the mourning of the people who died in this event. And so "Gurnica" was born.
A combination of Cubism and surrealism, the painting expresses pain, suffering and animalism: on the right, a woman falls from a burning house with her hands raised. Another woman runs toward the center of the painting with her misshapen legs. On the left, a mother holds her dead child; On the ground lay the corpse of a warrior, with a broken sword in his broken hand, and beside the sword a growing flower. The center of the picture is the bull standing with its head raised and the horse roaring. The painter combines the concrete technique with the cubism technique, and with the help of the combination of geometric lines, so that the work obtains the form of strict internal structure and close connection, with exciting image art language, accuses the brutal atrocities of the Fascist war.
Picasso used this carefully organized composition to show the uniform and orderly appearance of the exaggerated and deformed images full of movement and stimulation, which not only depicted the rich and changeable details, but also highlighted and emphasized the key points, showing his profound artistic skills. Here, Picasso still adopted the artistic language of clip art. However, the kind of clip and paste visual effect in the painting is not achieved by real clip and paste means, but by hand painting. The "cut and paste" graphics, one on top of another, are limited to black, white and grey, effectively highlighting the tension and horror of the scene. In 2014, Spanish director Carlos Saura made the film 33 Days, which tells the story of Picasso's creation of Guernica. Japanese art mystery writer Maiye Harada's new novel "Guernica under the Dark Curtain" is based on this work. The story described in the book begins with an air raid. In 1937, enraged by an air raid that nearly destroyed the town of Guernica, Picasso painted a huge oil painting called "Guernica." With the passage of time, the painstaking process of creating this famous painting, and the controversy surrounding its first public display, have been forgotten, even as it has been admired by millions. The audience seems to focus only on the messiness, the beastliness, the cruelty.

Martin is interested in the relationship between art and architecture. She is also thinking about the question of proportion and variation -- questions related to architecture and art. The 96 aluminum plates are arranged in sequence and then repeated backwards as the "reversal" of the title. The inversion is an abstract work, but Martin's choice of reflective materials means it always contains the environmental elements that show it off, including the body of the audience in front of it. Inversions becomes a grand declaration of an application based on such a logical system. The "pendulum arrangement" for Black Diagonal, which was Spiral's supporting work, also formed the basis for Inversions. Martin starts with sequences 1, 2, 3 and 4 (each representing a different direction of the slope). Permutations are obtained by choosing alternative numbers; Start with the second number, jump to the fourth, and then return to the rest of the alternative numbers (pendulum motion) : so 1, 2, 3, 4 gives 2, 4, 3, 1. The permutation is then applied to the second sequence, and so on. Such a scheme was used for Permutation of Five, however, for four numbers only three sequences could be achieved before repeating the original number, and as Paul Martin, son of Mary Martin, pointed out in his analysis of Inversions, the number 3 remained in the same position. Using diagrams, Paul Martin explains that Mary Martin invented "a sliding system that produces 12 different sequences before repeating"; This overcomes the fixed position of 3 by bringing the beginning number of the sequence to the end of each line. The first number is then passed and a sequence is formed by the gradual movement (sliding motion) of the starting point; So you can list twelve sequences. Inversions became Mary Martin's most famous and great work.

As economic activity stops during the epidemic, the ability of women working in the informal sector to earn a living declines sharply. In addition to the loss of income and paid work, many women are increasing their unpaid care and domestic work, and women around the world are still unable to achieve gender equality in the face of current problems. When it comes to the art of manhole covers, most people who know this will immediately think of one country -- Japan. When the Japanese walk down the street, they only need to look at the manhole cover to know where they are.

But the Japanese painted conservative pictures on manhole covers. I think there should be more influential works, so that there can be a stronger promotion of feminism. So I think the manhole cover is undoubtedly an important carrier of my publicity. I think an old-fashioned notice report that promotes respect for women will be uninteresting or even ignored. If exaggerated graffiti is impressive and moving, this is the impact of art works on society, which is why I put my work on the manhole cover in school. Because manhole covers can be seen everywhere, exaggerated graffiti works can make people deeply feel the importance of protecting and respecting women, which is also more artistic. I think the school's Open Day is an important condition to promote my propaganda of feminism. The school is full of artistic sense, and more people will visit it. I also hope that everyone can really value women and respect women.

I saw and approached this hungry and desperate mother as if drawn to a magnet. I don't remember how I explained myself or my camera to her, but I do remember that she didn't ask me questions. I walked up to her and, without asking her name or her past, she told me she was 32 years old. She said they survived on frozen vegetables nearby and birds killed by children. She said she sold the tires of her car to buy food. She leaned against the tent with her children sitting around her, probably knowing that my picture might help her, so she assisted me. It's like a kind of equality.
Dorothea Lange, the legendary American photojournalist, said in her later years when she recalled her experiences. She is an influential American biographer and photographer. Famous for photographing the Great Depression. Pictured in her most famous work "to Mother" (Migrant Mother), in addition to let her step on the international stage of photography, jointed into the ranks of outstanding American well-known photographer, also is the place for board for seven years, she bitterly of photography program, more than 272000 photo taken, one of the most proud of the classical representative works.
The mother in the photo is Florence Owens Tompson. Her expression was firm and complex, her eyes staring into the distance without knowing where the future lay. Tattered and coarse clothes, the skin of vicissitudes of life is full of wrinkles. The photo had a strong impact on the society at the time, revealing deeply the poor life of the unemployed immigrants and the painful childhood of their children. This photo, taken by the U.S. Bureau of Resettlement, had a major impact on welfare policy.
The hostess is holding her head and looking into the distance with her eyes full of confusion and melancholy. The two children are clinging to their mother's side with their backs to the camera. The fourth child turned his head, took the trunk of the tree with one hand, and laid his face lightly against his mother's shoulder. The fifth was the same child, his chin deep on his mother's shoulder. Figure 4 is a vertical composition and figure 5 is a horizontal composition. In the sixth picture, although it is still a horizontal composition, the position is shifted from left to right to make the trunk return to the dark part, so as to reduce visual interference. This is the last picture, the woman's chest is open, showing half of the breast, the child's small hand caresses the mother's skin, this is obviously by the child's hands tightly pressed up the state, the woman's expression becomes numb. Langer stopped filming and began to learn more about their plight through language.
My article lacks critical content, so I need to reflect on my writing. I don't have a deep understanding of this work, so I need to understand the meaning behind the photo and understand that period of history. My writing is logical to some extent, but sometimes there are improper cohesion and wrong words, which need to be corrected

Hi, I'm very happy to be able to share my topic with you, and I know it's very short, so I'm only going to talk for five minutes, and my topic today is feminism

I want to start with the context. Women are an oppressed and discriminated class all over the world. Women generally earn less and work in less stable jobs than men. And women artists are also fighting to defend their rights.

Then I was inspired by studying the work of two great feminist artists, so I decided to focus on feminism and speak up for women's rights. One is Croatian photographer and performer Sanja Iveković and the other is art witch VALIE EXPORT, whose name is always capitalized. I was influenced by Emma Watson's "He For She" speech at the UN, which made me pay more attention to the study of feminism. This is Emma speaking at the United Nations

On top of that, I think I'll paint my feminist work on the manhole cover at school. When it comes to the art of manhole covers, most people who know this will immediately think of one country -- Japan. When the Japanese walk down the street, they only need to look at the manhole cover to know where they are. Manhole covers are everywhere, which is more feminist propaganda. South Korea also has films to highlight feminism, and the two artists in the study directly linked their work to the progress of women's empowerment. They are changing the way society views women.

Next is my own design. The graffiti works can make people deeply feel the importance of protecting and respecting women, which is also more artistic. I think the Open Day of the school is an important condition to promote my propaganda of feminism, and I hope everyone can really value and respect women. I have a name for these two works, called Beauty, which is a combination of modern and traditional.

As for the influence of audience, I think I will use the way that we used to print coins with pencil and paper when we were children and let people color in, so as to give my own ideas to the works and the way that the viewers can also make rubbings of their favorite works to interact with my works

Finally, visitors can take away their favorite works and others to promote feminism, so that feminism can be deeply rooted in the hearts of people, spread more widely, and let people join in the art making, which is impressive

Thank you for listening and watching, please watch my padlet for details

Research and compare how [art activist projects 1 and 2] have successfully used art to respond to [political or social issue] and empower communities

Women are an oppressed and discriminated class everywhere in the world. Women generally earn less and work in less stable jobs than men. As economic activity stops during the epidemic, the ability of women working in the informal sector to earn a living decline sharply. In addition to the loss of income and paid work, many women are increasing their unpaid care and domestic work, and women around the world are still unable to achieve gender equality in the face of current problems. Feminism is a social movement that transcends class and race, and women artists are also fighting to defend their rights.

One is a great Croatian photographer and performer, Sanja Iveković. Known for addressing issues such as female identity and political conflict, (Marcoci, R., & Eagleton, T. 2011). her work continues to inspire many young artists and another avant-garde Austrian artist, Valie Export. She is known for her provocative feminist public performances. Her work also includes video, video animation, photography and contemporary art publications.

Sanja Iveković 's work reveals the pressure women feel to conform to existing ideas of unique beauty and self-image. Sanja Ivekovic's "Make Up Make Down" shows the artist's upper body on a television screen. A still camera focuses on the woman's hand; They waved their carmine lipstick enthusiastically up and down. Then she runs her finger slowly across the tip of the eyeliner, gently holding a tube of mascara. Make up will focus the audience's attention on daily and private activities and subvert the image of women in the media by hiding facial images. It also has a private message for women, and makes people focus on women, rather than on a single woman. Valie Export uses a pseudonym, refusing to use the names of her father and ex-husband, to express her contribution to feminism. Mueller and Rosita also work in Valie Export。Fragments of the Imagination says that Valie Export launched her artistic career in the 1950s and 1960s, and she was part of the avant-garde movement of the century, the continuation and redefinition of the movement after World War II. （Mueller, Roswitha 1994）.Her work, including films and photographs, extends the transboundary idea of Viennese feminism to include a feminist critique of the restrictions imposed on individuals based on their perceived gender. EXPORT cites a similar story: “The female body is the locus where ‘ culture ’creates a barrier to block out woman. … The body is the locus where civilization takes hold’’ (EXPORT 1995: 20). Every one of her creations is an avant-garde practice, and in the Identity Shift series, she struck a distinctly unfeminine pose that was at odds with her hair and makeup, playing with the code words traditionally used to convey gender identity.

From the start of Sanja Ivekovic's artistic career, Iveković was interested in the representation of women in society. She discusses the relationship of artistic language and meaning creation to conceptualism and performance and Tito's position of women in Yugoslavia and society as a whole（Noack, Ruth; Lewis, Mark 2013）.“In all her work since the early '70s, there are three themes that she's focused on the most: gender, identity and memory," Ms. Ivikovic said. For her, each of her works as a visual effects artist, the starting point of my research is to communicate to us the visual representation of women in daily life through mass media. Later, through her work, she reinforced the social and political commitment to the role of women in society. Her works have exerted a profound influence on the thoughts and works of later feminist artists. At the same time, like Valie Export, she has made great contributions to the social status of women and the pursuit of equality between men and women. Export added, Art can be understood as a self-defining medium, thereby adding new value to art." These values, transmitted through cultural symbols, will change reality to meet women's needs. The statement directly linked her own work to progress in women's empowerment. It also left a deep impression on women of later generations and made a remarkable contribution to feminism.

The assumption that society's representation of women's roles reflects women's lives and implies women's beliefs and values accurately describes the behavior and changes of women's roles in order to illustrate what exists. As Export observes, "for a long time, women have been preserving and sealing their damaged identity under painful deformities" (EXPORT 1989[1980]: 73). Based on the assumption that the audience will accept all the images of women and use social experience to evaluate the appropriateness of other people's behavior in real life, a comparative analysis has been made of the roles of women in society and in real society. Through the comprehensive analysis of a series of female characters in TV.

These two feminist artists are successful because they do contribute to feminism, but it can be summed up in one sentence: achieving equality between men and women in all human beings. Some feminist theories are as strong as fire, some as calm as water, some are about fighting to the death, some are about compromise, but all of them share a basic premise: that women are the oppressed and discriminated class of the world. We also need to change the status quo and continue our feminist fight to win back women's rights.

Reference

Mueller, Roswitha (1994）Valie Export: fragments of the imagination: Women artists in

film Indianapolis, USA : Indiana University Press At: https://tinyurl.com/yjljfdwb

(Accessed 17/08/2021)

Export, Valie (1995) ‘Der Riß im Bild’ (‘The Crack in the Picture’), in Suture, Phantasmen der Vollkommenheit.

Sanja Iveković Iveković was one of the first Yugoslav artists to actively address gender differences, dealing with the commodification of women's roles and violence against women as the age of consumption in Yugoslavia approached. Her work helps us understand the reconfiguration of roles and gender in art today.

She experimented with pop art techniques when she was a student. Iveković worked on television advertisements, tabloid magazines and current events, juxtaposing these with images of her own life, addressing the differences between public and private discourse and pointing out the hypocrisy of Yugoslavia's avowal of gender equality.

Iveković, like her American counterparts, grew up in the radical era of the 1960s and 1970s and has worked extensively as a performance and body artist. Its areas of work include video, film, installation, performance, intervention, photography (private and official) and collage. Her highly critical work focuses on images and the politics of the body. In all these different media, the main focus of the artist is to restore the "real" woman hidden behind a polished and idealized version. Once the exterior is peeled off, beautiful women are endowed with complexity.

Her artistic career began in the early 1970s during the Croatian Spring, when she, along with other artists, broke away from the mainstream environment and pioneered video, conceptual photography montage and performance. She was also the first Croatian artist to label herself a feminist artist and has been a key figure in the Zagreb Centre for Women's Studies since its inception in 1994.

VALIE EXPORT is an Austrian artist who was born Waltraud Lehner on 17 May 1940 in Linz. Her artwork includes video installations, physical performance, film, computer animation, photography, sculpture and publications covering contemporary art.
Until the age of 14, VALIE EXPORT grew up in a monastery, receiving one of the most conservative moral educations in Austria. She wasn't VALIE EXPORT at the time. Waltraud Lehner was her real name.
She studied painting and design at the National Textile Institute in Vienna and worked in the film industry as a playwright and editor. After her marriage in the 1970s, she followed her husband and changed her name to Waltraud Hollinger.
It was an Austrian feminism forced to deal with the fact that in the 1970s there was still a generation of Austrians whose attitudes towards women were based on Nazi ideology and who had to face their parents' complacency within the Nazi regime - it was perfectly normal to be stripped of naming rights. If the famous Viennese Actionism in Vienna had not come, VALIE EXPORT would have been a mother and wife for life.
As a leading figure in contemporary art since the 1960s, VALIE EXPORT has been playing a pioneering and decisive role in the development of women's art, performance art and incidental art. Has deeply influenced many female artists and the art world in general, including Marina Abramovic.
