The children placed the lollies in the middle of their dough shapes. When baked, the lollies changed from a solid to a liquid and back to a solid, to create the coloured window decoration. The activity used a technique of glassmaking called fusing.

We have been observing and comparing materials and properties of various items to determine if the item can be reused or recycled before sorting into into the appropriate bin. Eli shared his expertise and demonstrated how to test if the item was 'crinkly'.
