         <description><![CDATA[<div>Britanny (whilst techincally being in France) had a lot of influence as a an idividual area.<br>Anne of Brittany (Duchess) from 1488 until her death in 1514.<br>She was Queen consort of France from 1491 utill 1498, then from 1499 until 1514.<br>She married Charles III in 1491.<br>She was a symbol of Peace between France and Brittany.<br>In 1488 Henry VII suggested a marriage between Buckingham and Anne however it was rejected.<br><br><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>James IV was the current ruler of Scotland during Henry VII’s reign. Previous relations with England was usually strained as Scotland wanted independence and the positioning was often hostile due to Scotland going to France for help. Henry VII was worried that James would refuse Henry as the new English king as this would cause problems with Yorkists. </div>]]></description>

Henry feared Kildare due to his support of both Simnel and Warbeck, as well as being supported by Yorkists. Ireland didn’t have any relations with other European powers, but Henry didn’t trust them so appointed his son, Henry, as Lieutenant of Ireland </div>]]></description>
