1. Why and how do we study literature? Why do we study TTTC?

I think we study literature by reading it over and over again to understand the text and also by us paying close attetion and also by looking for rhetorical choices it make us to have a deeper understanding of the text. I think we study TTTC because in many of the texts it has a deep meaning in the text that you do need a lot of background information. But also like in the story of "sweetheart of the song tra bong" they give us an image and we have to depict that image and explain what it means. But the etxta also help us to see mnay diffrent perspective and also it akmke us to cme up with a fun imagination like in harry potter it made me when i wa shounger to become much more brave. Like in TTTC

2. How are we affected by literary texts in various ways? How are we impacted by TTTC?
We are affected by literary texts in many various ways. Some ways are is how we solve problems and how we react to the. When we read book we tend to react better and also solve the problem easier because we are learning from the books. We are impacted by TTTC in many ways but the way that was the most vibrant for me was learning about our identity because i think identity takes a big tool on us and when. we are trying to find out who we are and it impact me because we should be anything we aren't.

3. In what ways is meaning constructed, negotiated, expressed and interpreted in TTTC?

Constructed is interpreted in TTTC as they are building a strong army to fight in the war. But also they are negotiating all of the many deaths of their friends and the many innocent deaths they had to see. They also expressed their true self they had ac hance for their true identity to come and they can be their self.


4. How does the structure of style of TTTC affect its meaning?

The structure of style of TTTC affect its meaning greatly the way O'Brien talks in 3 rd person to give a more vivid image to the readers and make us the raiders to interpret as we were there and we can see how it would look to be there. By him using third person give us a few of the other people in the book and by him using first person it gives us a first hand of how he and most soldiers felt like.

TTTC connects to our world day, where we see in more conservative households, they tend to keep up with values of how men need to be men, like they need to be masculine, and they have to do masculine things. We see how these day some women are also seen they have to cook and clean for their family. Consider how Morrison's stream-of-consciousness, shifting points of view, and use of analepsis and prolepsis impact the meaning of the novel.                    I think how morrison shifts throughout gives a better understanding of the text rather than reading about the past then present it help us readers have a good understanding like i am watching this how and if they were got explain the past than present i would be so confused of the show.Also, her symbolism gives a more vibrant understanding of things.

    Cultural and or historical context is very important when reading something or even watching a movie. By us the reader giving context of the past help us to better understand the text when reading it. Like when reading a book about the holocaust we learn what the holocaust is before reading the book so we can have background information to pay attention important things in the books or movies.

    How valid is the notion of a "classic" literary text? What makes Persepolis "literary" even though it is a graphic novel?

    The notions of a classic literary text is somewhat valid. Persepolis is literary even though its a graphic novel because, its still using different rhetorical devices to tell a story, and she uses them right in a way that makes the book connect as a whole. Even though its a graphic novel, the graphics just helps to show the minor symbols throughout the book. But, its literary because its still explaining the message with the help of words.

    What insight did Persepolis give you into Iranian life during and after the revolution?
    Some insight Persepolis gave to me into Iranian life and after the revolution, that life from the start was its climbing to its worst, where we see how their life changed overnight. Where, they have to change their parties, how they life, and what they wear. But, after the revolution we still see how the revolution impacted their beliefs and still how they dressed.     I dont have much of my harkness notes here. But, we talked about the shading, symbolism of different objects in the panels.     Persepolis connects to CoaDf and TTTC, where we see in all of these they connect to each other of how the ideas of revolutions affected their people. We see in sense og global issue, they have similar global issues in the women fighting and giants against the grim and the normal norms they are supposed to follow. Stylistically, they all use symbols of different items to give a. well known connection with each other. But, also rhetorically with imagery and diction.

    How does Persepolis connect to our world today?

    Persepolis connects to our world today in different countries still having a negative mold of their people like in more developing countries, they have toxic regimes where they have to follow their rules, like follow their religion. But, also they have to follow what they can and cant wear like in Afghanistan, they have the Taliban, where women have to wear scarves or they will be punished. We , also see how it correlates with Persepolis.

    How are we affected by Delbo's memoir and her imperative for us to "Try to look. Try to see"? How were you affected by Auschwitz and After?
    We are affected by Delbo's memoir and her imperative for us by her using this imagery, that is used so well, that we are able to gather all of these saddened thoughts and we are able to get a somewhat feel of how they felt. I was affected by Auschwitz and After greatly I had always been saddened by the thought of the holocaust, but Auschwitz and After explains everything so well. Also, vividly and it give us a deeper connection, and it changes your thoughts on how the SS officers were literally monsters.

    Auschwitz and After connects to Beloved and Langton Hughes, were in all of these books they are all being oppressed for being themselves and they cant control it. We also see this of how their identity in all of these are being changed because they have no ability over these negative powers in all these works.

    Auschwitz and After connects to our world today, where we see alot of people are still being oppressed because of ther religion and ethnicity. Like there are islamphobics and anti-semitism.
