What i will do is eveytime i have a new essay to write i will make a checklist of all the things i need to do to my essay before i turn it in which will include format section which will help me make sure it is solid and correct.

I think what can help fix the issue of writing too much is getting better at summarizing my ideas. Like we summarize text in class, I think if I can effectively summarize my essays while keeping the main ideas clear, I can be better at staying within page limits and writing concisely.

I plan to get a stronger grasp of the tTRIAC method and utilizing the writing center more to help me identify the weak points in my essays. tTRIAC will help me add examples as part of my flow and reduce the blowback from having to stop and go through the sources for examples.

What I do to get over that challenge is ask for a second opinion on my writing, like a peer review, just to see that even if I know it sounds right to me, it might not make sense to others, so I ask someone else to read it. But also use transition devices online or synonyms to use to make my writing sound formal and a bit better than just basic.

Working Backwards

I think that I want to start backwards and work on the things that I am strongest at which is my body paragraphs and I can focus on my introduction at the very end. After I do everything else I can evaluate what would be the best way to get my audience's attention. This can include a personal story, or hypothetical situations that can help bring my essay together.

I can improve my writing skill more by annotate other writing and notice the skills that other use and whether or not I can implement it onto myself. Also I could use grammar checks whenever I struggle to identify my mistakes.

i keep planning to go to the writing center, i believe its a strong resource we have here on campus that should be utilized more often, and i also find outlines really helpful as well.

To continue growth as a writer, I will take advantage of the resources we are offered, especially the writing center. In the visits i went to they were very helpful and walked me through any challenges i faced.

I mentioned that I struggle with maintaining a good flow in my essay. One strategy I can use to help me improve at that, is to me more mindful. I know that's an area that needs work, so when completing future assignments I can pay more attention to that aspect and prioritize it. Another useful resource is the Writing Center, because I can get another persons input and advice on places that need growth and how I can do that.

A resource I plan on utilizing to continue my growth as a writer is to receive as much feedback as I can, whether that be through a Writing Center visit, or asking another person to read my writing. In the writing process, I struggled a lot with getting lost in my own word vomit so getting second opinions and input on the qualities of my writing that were either too convoluted or too vague, or even parts of my work that felt unnecessary was extremely helpful in transforming my writing, as I kept those feedback and specific details in mind when writing my next essays.

One resource I plan to use is books. I have read books and annotated them and it has helped me improved overall in writing. Some of these examples would be speaking, dialogue, themes, storytelling, vocabulary and etc. By annotating it helps me understand the purpose of a setting or theme and it helps me become a better writer because I have been exposed to high quality works.
