I give this one a 2, it explains how the pyramids of Giza are laid out in the architecture. However it doesn't explain how the pyramids show the power of the ruler it is for but does explain the purpose of tombs being in the pyramids. Doesn't give another contextual piece to explain how religion influenced the design of the monument.

I give this response a 2. The answer describes the layout of the pyramids, and it provides a decent answer, but it doesn't fully qualify for a 5. It is more like a 2, since he didn't give a great answer, and I am barely able to read his response. It's too sloppy.

I give it a 4, This essay talks about the geometry with the lack of curvature in the pyramids alongside the layout of them. They explain the function of the pyramids as tombs. They don't explain why animals are protectors (religion). However it does explain that the structures being the largest man made ones at the time equals power, wealth, and authority.

I give this a 2 because It says how the structure was made and tells how it rests. It doesn't talk about the rulers of it or what they did. However it did explain details of it and how it looked, other than that the spelling was bad and didn't talk about much.

This one deserves a 4, tells us about the pyramid being lined up with the cardinal directions. Explains the function of the pyramids as burial sites. Talks about being buried with items but says it is not for the afterlife and it is to display power, so they miss out on one point because of that. Explains why the pyramid was lined up with the cardinal directions being religion. Further goes into why the pyramids are the size they are which is to symbolize power, wealth, and authority.
