Thanks so much for being my Chemistry teacher this semester!  I've had so much fun in your class!  I love the Kahoots, the polls, and the Space Races!  You make coming to class so enjoyable. :)  Your Chemistry class has been my favourite Science class I've taken so far in the VLC - in part because of you and all the other great students I've gotten to hang out with this semester (and also because Chemistry is my favourite subject, but mostly because of you guys!)!

I hope to have you in Grade 11 Bio next semester!

Thank you so much for being such an awesome chemistry teacher this semester. 

You're one of my favourites and I really appreciate everything you do for me to help me learn; like answering my weird questions and helping me in open office.   It's also really nice how friendly and understanding you are with everything like marking and extensions.  I never really get that "overloarding teacher" vibe from you but you always have a very professional character while not being too stern.  Also...  I like how much Kahoot you put in your classes (I feel like it's mostly for me, but that seems selfish. mwahahahaha! I still enjoy it the same).  :P

Thank you for being awesome and I look forwards to maybe having you again next semester in bio.

This will officially be my last semester with you. You are absolutely my favourite teacher at the VLC. You're classes are always fun to go to, and you are always available to answer my questions. I know that I havent always been the best student, especially last semester, but you have really helped me to get my grades up and adjust better to the online format.
I am a bit worried about next semester, with 12 bio and chem, but i know you prepared me well. 
I hope you have many more awesome semesters! Can't wait until you have to deal with my younger siblings, they will be taking their sciences soon, so you will run into them eventually.

Thank you so much for the fantastic semester! I have learned so much and I can safely say that I have a new opinion on Chemistry. This semester definitely been the most challenging of my life but you have done a great job keeping me motivated and focused on learning. Kahoot was such a blast and it was neat to see myself in some friendly competition with my classmates. This has been the most fun Science class I have had yet.

Peter N.]]> 2019-01-15 18:06:14 UTC https://padlet.com/menna1234560/r2g322zti1n8/wish/320909951 usernamenum0 https://padlet.com/menna1234560/r2g322zti1n8/wish/321067015 I have harped on this almost every time the subject gets brought up, but I do so with good reason - I had intensely disliked both biology and chemistry in both grades 9 and 10, and have done fairly poorly grades-wise in each. That's the main reason I skipped them over in Gr. 11, which is why I'm rushing through them in Gr. 12 for prerequisites. I will admit that I did not expect much better, going into your classes.

I was happily proven wrong. If I had gone back in time to tell my past self that I would eventually get well over 90% as a chemistry final mark, albeit pre-final exam, I would have laughed until I died either from suffocation or exhaustion. It's really all thanks to you - your classes are incredibly engaging, and many opportunities for taking notes are given freely. The classroom games we had were incredibly helpful not only for keeping the atmosphere light, but also for review purposes.

Another thing I can't thank you enough for is the *very* generous late assignment flexibility. Honestly, I'm not entirely sure how teachers put up with students like myself sometimes lol. My sincerest apologies for many a late night's submission...several days over the actual due date.

Next semester will certainly be different - for a start, I am genuinely looking forward to biology!
