I think creative learning is the future trend; learners could have fun through learning, and they will learn more actively. I see you mentioned social constructivism. Exchange thoughts in a collaborative learning environment could help learners to gain a better understanding of the material.

Perhaps, this should include the previous slide about Design Philosophy. Just a overall note to be aware of the slide order throughout the presentation and that they should follow the natural, fluid progression of going from introductory (general info) to specifics (examples).

Learning Theories: I would have liked to see an explanation of each proposed theory and relevant citations here.

Design Models: Since Ruobing brings up the industries overarching standard, this should be addressed first and maybe a sentence or two as to why this is an industry standard, plus citation here. Then, zeroing in on Samantha's personal design process, the Dick & Carey model. With this model, it would help to visualize highlight the steps on the graphic with color or arrows.

Chapter 3 - Work Pieces

It would help to explain what a "work piece" is versus a project or product. The "Working with Clients" slide is a great idea. What would be more helpful here is to extrapolate on "communicating with clients." What does this look like? Meeting in person like the photo or weekly Zoom meetings? Emails with step-by-step tasks to be completed or Trello boards?

Sam's Design Solutions to Food Borne Illness

Excellent separating out the 3 overarching solutions. It would help to further add to each section why Bright Color palette and Visual cues are beneficial by referring to the learning sciences or cognitive theories.

Logic Model

Regarding the inputs under eLearning platform, I would move the things that the learner would "do" to the activities box, such as taking quizzes. I'm a bit confused by the Activities box because I'm not sure if its the learner being described or the instructor here.

"Do I agree with..." Slides

Need to be clearer as to which project referring to here. I appreciate the candid review that digs into the usability and sustainability issues.

My Takeaways

Be careful with vocabulary (see: glandular).
Sondra's Review of Samhita's Case (1 of 2)

Lovely, clear slideshow designs and graphics. Excellent, clear narration. I like how Samhita did not read off the screen, but gave a thoughtful explanation of each slide.

Learning Environment

1) Edu Problem

2) Learners & stakeholders

3) Content: Evolve

4) Context

Content: Interesting idea about "constraints can fuel creativity." I would have liked to have heard more about constraints - what does this mean? A real life example of a constraint that inspired her solutions would have helped to explain this idea more.

The Process: With the design model, it would have been helpful to have a visual, such as the ADDIE model on the screen to remind us what that looks like. Perhaps, using Rina's process and overlaying it on the ADDIE design model for reference. For the evaluation, it's interesting that Google mentions the politics of a program and only successful projects get funding. I wonder what "successful" is considered for Google. It has to be hard on the learning designer to design for best learning, when knowing that parts/projects will be cut to save money.

Logic Model: The model was clear with explanations. I would have liked to have heard about the arrows, and why some arrows go one way and others have two ways. Perhaps, also mentioning which logic model this is based on would have been helpful to remind the audience.

Mayer's Multimedia Principles: I like how Samhita explained each principle and discussed a real-life example from Google Ads projects.

References: Whoops! Forget Richard Mayer's citation. I'm super anal-retentive when it comes to details, so be sure to double-check after pasting because Jones has "&amp" instead of "&" and for Section 1, possibly removing the "|" because it's hard to read.
