In this song Bowie talks about a man who is alive but dead inside and, like him, many people walk and wonder where they are.  It is set in the period when Germany was reaching freedom, but people still suffered injustice.  So they couldn't be happy. 

The song made me sad, nostalgic and made me feel afraid of losing an important person, an important thing or the life, too.

I was very impressed with this verse:

It made me melancholy, but also made me think of the desire to fight something stronger than us, even if we already know it will beat us.

because it reminds us all that now we only hope that this situation improves as soon as possible and in the meantime we think of memories. We have more time to think, reflect and remember. I personally am living it like this. And this song seems to represent it really so. Because in the end: where are we now? I often ask myself. 
The video gives me some anxiety.
I can't understand the meaning but it seems to want to represent a little the world and the two people trapped in one body.

When I listened to this I felt a mix of emotions that I honestly cannot explain, but I only know that most of the emotions were sad, so many good and bad memories have passed through my brain.

This song gives me a sense of loneliness,an emotion that people feel during a dark period or an uneasiness;just how we feel right now.It wants to help us remember the mistakes made in the past so as not to repeat them.I think listening to her at this difficult time is very helpful,because it’s  a beautiful song and both to reflect on what we have done and that has led us to this social isolation.A current example of these mistakes has been the disorganization and slowness in addressing the spread of the virus.For me they had to shut everything down from the beginning ,so things would have been a little better.Another mistake is that people keep leaving the house and they don’t respect the rules.If we don’t respect the rules,the virus will never stop spreading. I find this melancholy song,profound,but at the same time fascinating and relaxing.

It made me think a lot, reminding me of past moments in my life like my childhood.

Those moments of light-heartedness and happiness that we can now relive only through photos.

When we are small, the world does not touch us and nothing scares us.

It would be nice if everything grew like this, but unfortunately the more you go on the more life puts us in front of obstacles to overcome.

I also connect this song a lot to what I, like so many others, am experiencing right now.

This moment that we are facing is very difficult, we are forced to stay at home not being able to see many of our family members but above all not being able to see our friends.

It is strange and I think nobody expected this change overnight.

These are dark days, of which unfortunately we do not see the end right now.

This situation worries us and many times leads us to be sad and melancholic.

Despite all we have to do is be strong and have hope, because surely one day we can go back to hugging each other stronger than ever.
