As a team, we were really drawn to Nick Veasey's work and we felt that it aligned with our concept in a few different ways. Firstly, his use of x-ray technology to reveal the inner workings of objects really resonated with our exploration of anatomy and the idea of consciousness beyond our physical bodies. We also appreciated how his work played with the idea of perception and challenged us to see things in a new light.


From a textile perspective, we were inspired by how Veasey's x-rays created intricate and unexpected patterns, textures, and shapes within the objects he scanned. We saw this as an opportunity to experiment with layering and combining different fabrics and textures to create a similar effect in our collection. Additionally, we were drawn to the bright and bold colors in his work, which we felt could be a great way to add a pop of color to our more subdued palette.
