The writ of habeas corpus shall not be suspended (government must show cause why accused should not be released). The California American Government book by William A. McClenaghan tells me that the court demands a sheriff or a higher rank to “produce the body” towards the person being detained in order for the court to determine legality of the detention.

Treason may be charged if at least two witnesses sight the treason, or a confession is given by the accused. This right tells me that someone cannot be accused of a crime with just two eyes. Accusing someone for a crime requires testimonies of two witness of the same act.

In this article, it talks about Donald Trump accusing Snowden for being a traitor to the United States by leaking out valuable information to Russia and China and is ordering for him to be executed if he returns back to the United States. I believe that Donald Trump is doing something wrong here. It seems that Donald Trump is the only person who witness Snowden for leaking out the information. If there were to be more people involved in this content, then it wouldn’t be a violation of the Constitutional Article III.

Website link:
https://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2017/05/trump-snowden-execution-tk/526821/

Hashtags: #twowitnesses #howdoyouknow #wasitreallyme
