Once little league was over my father decided to sign me up for club ball. Club ball is a travel team that plays tournaments against other club ball teams and sometimes travels to other states.  That is where I really learned to perfect my abilities behind the plate as a catcher. I was lucky enough that one of my coaches was actually a minor league catcher for the New York Yankees, so while he was home during the off season he would teach me stuff that he would use in the Pro’s.  Then when his season would start my other coach, a college baseball catcher, would teach me stuff that they do in college when he came home. It really made me a much better catcher 

because I didn’t just have some dad trying to teach me what they thought I should do, I had truly experienced guys teaching me the in’s and outs of the game, 

   Fast forward to the age of 11 almost 12 and  I was sill playing club ball along with little league. That was an amazing year.  I was able to go to Cooperstown with my Club ball team.
