The best books I've read recently include The book thief by Marcus Zusak and All the light we cannot see by Anthony Doerr. One of the best books I used to read to my children was Beware the storybook wolves by Lauren Child.

I have read it many times since and every time the language and mastery of writing captures me and makes me question the world around us. 
Richard Flanagan once commented that, '“a good book leaves you wanting to reread the book. A great book compels you to reread your own soul.” 
For me, Year of Wonders does both!
