A modern producer will be a one man army in some cases. writing, playing and producing the song. His boiler room set in Montreal is debated to be one of his best persistence consistently switching between different stiles of music but still keeping the vibe is very impressive, and after listening for only 10 minutes I can understand why this is one of the most renowned performances. It uses the violin, guitar, drums, bass, key-bored, synth, trumpet, piano and the saxophone. the song starts relaxed and silent as MJ walks into the room and after about 20 seconds it immediately starts into the mane cores of the song. Keeping it's some beet throughout and at the end using a synth they recreate the sound of gun shots in the song. it's quite a long song being over 9 mins long. A lighting tech set's up the lighting for the show or performance. Same as sound tech's they are also partake in all stages of production. Pre-production, production and post-production. pre-production they check all the equipment too see if it works properly and reports if not. they also plan how to safely put them up. production they operate the equipment and fix any problems that arise through mid performance. post-production they would safely and fix any problems with equipment.

Both roles need to keep health and safety in mind as they are responsible for setting up and talking down the equipment. They also should consider proper PPE when setting up and talking down. Falling lights and speakers, lose wires, damaged equipment and SWL of lifting equipment are just a few things that they need to be mindful of while working.

He doesn't just need to show all of the characteristics and responsibilities he needs to live and breathe them.

Health and safety is very important in the workplace as if it is not taken seriously people can end up seriously injured or even killed. Ensuring you work to the proper safety standards such as the health and safety at work act, COSHH, ECT. 

Working as a formal on stage has inherent risks such as falling off the stage tripping over wires and more. If they're not seen to properly the performer or techies mid performance could get injured.

However, there is a greater risk of injury when setting up and taking down the stage or equipment. For example, putting Lighting or sound systems high up is dangerous as you'll be working at greater heights so to ensure safety using harnesses hard hats to make sure you can't fall off our essential. 

In recording Studios dangers are different but not gone generally in recording few days lots of wires connected to multiple bits of equipment could overheat and catch fire and present a trip hazard. Effective cable management and cleaning of the facilities is essential.

There are multiple risks in theatres. highlighting high sound systems all required to be taken up and put down for maintenance and switching out old with new. There is also a risk with seating as poorly maintain seats could injure spectators. I'm making sure that the balconies the seats are laid on are in excellent shape as if rotting was to take place they theoretically could fall Other spectators mid performance. 

During festivals Keeping space for fans to get out of the big crown is important as during multiple festivals people have died due to overcrowding and getting trampled. People Can get very hot in mosh pits and pushed . around making sure there is spare space at the back so not over booking the venue is pivotal. 

I've only highlighted a handful of issues with safety not just for the workers but for the spectators as well there are many more such as keeping stairwell maintained and facilities in good shape and this goes for everything.

The most notable tasks that went well in my opinion was my logic production song and most of my Padlet work. After the reproducing a new song, I was much happier with the result given the shorter timeframe. Most of my Padlet work was good.

If I could improve on my creativity when working on songs in logic and also my sentence structure in the Padlet work, my projects and coursework would be greatly improved. I also could do with remembering to post more frequently on my blog which will take a bit of adjusting to however I will fix this quite quickly. 

What I learned.

Learning more about the music industry was fascinating as even though I was surrounded by it growing up I never properly immerse myself in what it was like behind-the-scenes. The opening couple of weeks on this courses opened my eyes to Some of the nuances of the industry.  

What I enjoyed. 

I Thoroughly enjoyed working in logic as being able to be creative was enjoyable comparatively to sitting in a classroom and listening to the teacher spew information at me is something I find quite dull. I also enjoyed being able to research my own songs and artists, instead of being told who and what to research it gave a new bit of freedom into Learning that I haven't experienced before. 

Overall, I didn't change too much about the tones of the sounds that I used. The only part I changed is my kick drum which I made more punchy. I chose this genre as it's a new one. I haven't done much with and I wanted a challenge.
