Some of the orchestras maintain a full 52-week performing season, others have shorter seasons. As of 2007, there were 117 U.S. orchestras with annual budgets of $2.5 million or more, which means symphony orchestras is the major way to show U.S. classical music and help U.S. economic. I go to the websites of Austin Symphony and Vancouver Symphony. I listen to their performances, and plan’s in 2017-2018 season. In Austin Symphony, they invite some great musicians who can play different kinds of instruments. For example, Anton Nel play both piano and harpsichord, Cameron Carpenter play organ. Austin Symphony shows their profession on complex instruments. In Vancouver Symphony, they also invite some great musicians, but in this year they focus more on preforming those classical music in movies and TV shows. These are the difference between 2 symphonies plan in this season, I think I will like Vancouver symphony more than Austin’s. Because performing old classical song kind of board for those people who are not professional.
