He pushed to organize peaceful protests and boycotts in Oxnard demanding better working conditions and wages for farmworkers. We learned from the quotes that through the CSO, he was able to do this and much more. He was determined to work towards having voter registration and citizenship classes for those who struggled with these issues in the Mexican community.
