Traunkirchen ist gut per Bahn mit den umliegenden Orten verbunden. Es ist also auch eine Unterkunft in Gmunden, Ebensee, Bad Ischl gut möglich. Es gibt stündliche Zugverbindungen, der Veranstaltungsort ist 3 Gehminuten vom Bahnhof entfernt. Genaue Zugzeiten gibt's unter Fahrplan - ÖBB

Travel to Traunkirchen

We will begin promptly at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, 23 July, with a liturgical opening. Please arrive on time, or preferably a little earlier.

Registration and arrival are possible from 1:00 p.m. onwards.

Arriving by Train

Unfortunately, construction work is currently taking place on the Salzkammergut railway line, so there is no direct train connection to Traunkirchen. However, a rail replacement bus service will be operating from Attnang-Puchheim station.

Regular buses depart from Attnang-Puchheim station, specifically routes SV 170 and R70.

The correct stop to get off at is “Traunkirchen Abzw Bahnhof.” From there, it is a 15–20-minute walk to the Waldcampus, our conference venue.

IMPORTANT: If the walk is difficult for you, please let us know your arrival time. We can arrange a pickup by car from the bus stop “Traunkirchen Abzw Bahnhof.”

Meals

Please note: There will be no lunch provided on Thursday at the seminar venue.

We will begin directly with the programme, and the first shared meal will be dinner, which is planned for 5:00 p.m.

Therefore, please make sure to have lunch beforehand or bring a snack with you.
The participation fee includes Dinner on Thursday, Lunch on Friday, Dinner on Friday Coffee breaks on Friday

Accommodation

Just to be on the safe side, we would like to remind you that accommodation is not automatically included and had to be arranged individually. We assume that you have already received confirmation from your accommodation provider.

Conference Languages

The conference will take place primarily in German. However, there will also be contributions in English (including the keynote by Anna Karin Hammar) as well as bilingual elements.
We will ensure that translation support is available for participants who speak only German or only English.
The presentations by Ina and Anna Karin will be available in written form in both German and English. In addition, whispered translation will be available in both directions.

Boat Trip on Saturday

·       Registration for the boat trip will take place on Thursday at the beginning of the conference.

·       Cost: approximately €30. Please bring cash.

·       The fee will be collected during registration.

·       The boat trip will take place on Saturday, 25 July, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon.

·       Departure Point: Seestraße 23.

·       For participants staying at the Waldcampus, departure from the Waldcampus will be at 10:00 a.m.

·       Afterwards, there will be an opportunity for an optional shared lunch at Gasthaus Gruber Wirt (registration during Thursday check-in).

·       Luggage storage at the Waldcampus will be available. Luggage can be collected after the boat trip or after lunch.

Books and Information Table

You are welcome to bring books, publications, and other materials to display and sell.

Tables will be provided, but there will be no supervision. This means that anyone who brings materials for display or sale is responsible for managing the sales themselves (or arranging this informally with others on site).
