I created a working drawing with pencils on a cradled panel and then traced individual shapes with tracing paper and cut them out on a band saw. Some shapes were more intricate and could not be cut out on a bandsaw so I scanned them into illustrator and traced them with a pen tool, crating a vector file.

Each shape is taped and painted with acrylic. More intricate shapes came from masking film that was vinyl cut.
