Microsoft Forms

Microsoft Forms is a key resource for collecting data from a census or sample of a population. Because it can be linked to students' school Microsoft accounts, sharing the survey to others within the school is efficient. The survey can be shared through email (such as students' school email address), Facebook or by sharing a URL. Forms also enables students to create their own questions, structure the survey and personalise it with a theme. They also have the ability to restrict who can access the survey, allowing ethical or cyber-safety concerns to be addressed. Microsoft teams collates the information by question, but allows students to directly convert the survey data to an Excel document.
