Everything he does goes wrong, no matter how hard he tries.  He's a little fat and he loves food. A lot of people bully him, especially Draco Malfoy and his friends. Neville was raised by his grandmother, after his parents were driven insane. He was constantly being told by his grandmother, that he wasn't good enough, and that he wasn't living up to his parents expectations. Neville has a toad named Trevor, who keeps running away from him. Neville adores his cherry wood and unicorn hair wand, because it actually chose him, unlike his fathers wand, that he used before.
He is a pure blood wizard.  His parents, Alice and Frank Longbottom, were well respected Aurors, and original members of  ''Order of the phoenix''.  Neville was born in great Britain.
