      <title>Ethical Computing by Michael M DeMelfi</title>
      <link>https://padlet.com/michael_demelfi/r1bxrowtfxrn</link>
<description>1. Thou shalt not use a computer to harm other people.

2. Thou shalt not interfere with other people&#39;s computer work.

3. Thou shalt not snoop around in other people&#39;s files.

4. Thou shalt not use a computer to steal.

5. Thou shalt not use a computer to bear false witness.

6. Thou shalt not use or copy software for which you have not paid.

7. Thou shalt not use other people&#39;s computer resources without authorization.

8. Thou shalt not appropriate other people&#39;s intellectual output.

9. Thou shalt think about the social consequences of the program you write.

10. Thou shalt use a computer in ways that show consideration and respect.

Q1. I believe that the commandment that talks about snooping in other people&#39;s files without permission is violated the most because of the amount of people that are lazy in society. People snoop around files to use to their advantage, which infuriates me because that is simply not right. Moreover, tying in the first commandment of using a computer to harm other people, those files can be used as blackmail against the victim which is really disgusting .

Q2. These violations occur because
as of right now in the present, people rely on computers to handle the more tedious details of their business, financial, and especially social lives. Online, people can easily ruin one&#39;s reputation in a matter of days, even hours.

Q3. As people on computers, there are multiple ways to eliminate any and all violations of those ten commandments. There is an old saying that everyone should be taking seriously, which is, &quot;never believe anything you read on the internet&quot; (Albert Einstein). This saying can really expose all the scams as well as all the people hiding behind a screen as well for all the bad things they create on the dark web. As people, we should be taking as many initiatives as possible to stop all violations.</description>
