This paper evaluated the effect climate change is having on our natural water cycle. While the water cycle does not influence climate change, the levels of carbon emissions is increasing the rate of climate change and in return the water cycle is being negatively impacted. The paper discusses the indicators it used to evaluate the impact climate change is having on the water cycle and clearly indicates the results of these studies. Climate change is having a huge impact on precipitation. Heavy precipitation can lead to floods and crop damage and can also impact the quality of drinking water due to increased cost of water treatment as a result of increased impurities and damages to natural water systems. Throughout the unpacking of this learning outcome, climate change is a huge factor that is impacting the earth and the earth's natural processes.

This paper discussed the impact scientific inquiry has on the learning and understanding of students in the Irish Secondary science curriculum. The study is based on the experiences of teachers implementing scientific inquiry into their lessons. Scientific inquiry being incorporated in the classroom encourages effective development of skills and increasing the level of scientific understanding of students through questioning, researching, carrying out experimental investigations, evaluating scientific data and developing informed conclusions. Scientific inquiry can be incorporated into lessons using a variety of independent and group work activities that allow the student to question and think scientifically about the topic.
