Our discussion focus for today is... 
  • What makes Haley a deep thinker
  • What immigrants expect when they come to the U.S.A, and what they receive
  • Haley's relationship with her dad
         Next week, we should start off with our topics like we did this week. But, we should talk more deeply about them. We can talk more deeply by inferring and asking more questions. It would be good if we knew a lot about the topic. But, it's okay if we don't know a lot about it because then we can ask more higher leveled questions, and try to answer them as well. Also, we need to balance real world evidence and evidence from the text. This week, we were talking more about the real world than the text. So, we should also pay attention to the text. It is also where we get all our ideas.
