JR est un artiste contemporain français. Il utilise la technique du collage photographique et expose ses grands formats sur les murs du monde entier. Dans la série "Women are Heroes", il  a habillé  la favela avec d'immenses photos de visages et de regards de femmes (le regard que ces mères portent sur les conditions de vie de leurs enfants).

Anamorphose : image déformée qui se reconstitue à partir d'un point de vue précis.
Point de vue : Endroit où se situe le spectateur.
Trompe l’œil :  Image qui consiste à tromper le spectateur en travaillant sur l'illusion
