The peer review process is used to help the student who you are peer reviewing by provided feedback but also it is good practice for the student providing the feedback to make sure they are giving descriptive feedback.

An example would be to be a curious writer. Just because the way that someone phrased something was different than what you think does not mean it is wrong. Rather, when peer reviewing, you are the reader and can suggest descriptive feedback but overall, it is up to the writer to ultimately decide what they like and want to keep in/change.

You aren't critiquing your peer but rather giving them suggestions.

Having another student in the course go over my lesson plan and provide feedback made me feel good. Knowing that it was a student at the same level as me adding in helpful tips and ideas was very benifical to me. I enjoyed seeing videos from my classmates offering me new ideas and corrections.
