I think the quote means that everyone has struggles and no one has life completely figured out and are trying their best to get through the harsh world.

My thoughts on this quote are that every has issues they deal with and sometimes need help with.

Something that might be rough for Greasers s their lifestyle is very rogue like in a sense that every time is a new adventure.

Something that might be an issue for Socs is that they can't grow up from their child hood because of the freedoms allowed inside the area

Things are rough all over for the greasers and socs. They may leave the house feeling unsafe of each other. When they walk out of their home there is violence, and people being rough. The greasers are made fun of, and socs are seen as all bad even though some aren't. Clearly things are rough all over.

I think that the meaning of the quote is the rough rivalry of the Socs and Greasers. My thoughts on this quote is that Cherry thinks that the roughness between the Socs and Greasers are really bad with jumping one another and beating them up, not giving a care in the world. Something that might be rough for the Greasers is peoples judgement on them because everyone sees them as bad, not caring, and not a great influence people, but not all of them are like that. Something that might be rough for the Socs are that people see them as threats and rude people, but again not all Socs are like that.

Cherry says that everyone goes through hard times, and I believe that's true. Greasers don't pick money from trees, and they depend on the gang to appreciate them, like a true family. The Socs may be rich, but being petty and rude all the time may be difficult/rough. Additionally, the Socs may be ignored by their parents at home, so they seek attention by getting into fights with Greasers.

I think the quote means that everything in their life is falling apart . My thoughts are who is this about and how did everything become rough ? It might be rough for the Greasers because the Socs got meaner and started doing more things like robbing the Greasers or jumping them . It might be rough to the Socs because they lost a lot of their money and that made them less powerful , making the Greasers able to overpower them .

The meaning is that everyone has bad things going around. My thoughts about this is that not everyone had it good and this is real in real life. Something that is rough for the greasers is probably just walking around and being called names. Something that is rough from the Socs is probably being to stuck up to actually do anything.

This quote shows that everyone has a hard part of their life. My thoughts are that Cherry is saying this because she is a Soc and she wants everyone to realize that some Socs have hard lives too just like the greasers. Some things that would be rough for the greasers are that the Socs are hurting them so they have to be careful wherever they go. Something that would be hard for the Socs are that they have a bad reputation to the greasers even though not all of them are bad and mean.

My thoughts are that that makes sense because the socs look like they are hiding something.
Rough things for the Greasers would be fights, friends getting mad at you, and not getting caught by the "fuzz".

The meaning of this quote is that the Greasers are not the only ones who have problems and have a difficult life. I think that it is true because even though the Socs may look like they have a perfect life with being socially elite, they have to live up to their expectation of being perfect. Not being able to live in peace and always being in fear of the Socs jumping them is rough for the Greasers. The Socs might not know what compassion and true love is because they are blinded with their money. This is rough for the Socs.

This quote means that any area could have its problems. I think that this quote is true, I believe that different people will have different problems and some problems may be worse than other but that doesn't mean that those other problems are any less important. The greaser have to go through being called greaser and not being respected. The SOCs may have expectations, and have to deal with rival with the greasers.
