I give this book a 4 because it told about when the baby sitters club got in a big fight and how Mary Anne brought them together. I give this book a 5. Because I liked learning about American history and that is what this book series is all about. This book is about the battle at the Alamo which was when America was fighting Mexico for ownership of Texas. In the early 1800s, Texas was a wild and dangerous land fought over by the Mexican government, Native Americans, and settlers from the United States. Beginning with the expeditions of the so-called "Land Pirates," through the doomed stand at the Alamo, and ending with the victory over Santa Anna at the Battle of San Jacinto, the entire Texas saga is on display. I rate this book a 3.5 because it wasn't really my type of book for me to read but I still liked a couple parts. I can't believe that he had different surgeries he had to chop off some of his leg because one leg was longer than the other. His mom and dad didn't want him because of all the surgeries he had and what he looked like. I gave this book a five star rating because I like how the author made it suspencefull. First this girl named Jess heard of a story and it was about a skeleton woman. Jess didn't think it was real so then a girl in her grade told her to find proof. When Jess went to find proof she took her dads camera and she lost it. When she went back to get it she found her bag and the table and her dads camera. Greg has a journal. The journal on the front says diary but he uses it for a journal. greg has a friend is name is Rowley and he is funny. greg likes to play video games all day. When is dad says that he cant play video games he goes over to Rowley and plays the video game there but Rowley's dad makes sure it's not a shooting game because he doesn't like the games that have weapons in it. I give this book a 4/5 because it has its good parts and its boring parts, but mostly good parts. in the begining a guy named Barney Northrup was hired by Sam Westing to sell the apartments of Sunset towers to the right people, but one of them was a mistake. Then on Halloween, smoke starts rising from the Westing house, the door man Otis Amber rumors that Sam Westing is laying on an oriental rug, dead! I gave this book a 3 because it was kind of boring and there wasn't much action. It's about this guy who wants to be the best in the whole school. He really tries to make goals for himself and tries to achieve them. Suddenly everything decides to go wrong. The class has a pet turtle and he was supposed to feed it for the week , but it was a real challenge because he doesn't have any pets at home. Bentley then realizes he's got this mean seventh grader on his tail blackmailing him everyday. Everybody is still so proud of him for all the wrong reasons. I liked this book because it was entertaining and funny. It was abut greg and his winter. It started off being warm in the winter and that reminded me off here. Then he talked about global warming and how their was no snow for a lot of their winter. But towards the end of their winter they got bucket loads of snow. They had a huge snowball fight against the upper and lower hill sides and it lasted all day.

Then Colton later realizes that Danny was signed up to go to the Navy. Colton wants too fight for his country because it was WWII. Colton makes it in the Navy. Find out more when you read the book.
