The area of phones can always be improved, like how the accessories can be more accessible and easier to be used. Some thing that I want to improve is phone cases. They are slippable, hard to hold, and sometimes are so big they don't fit in your hand. We need this design because if we don't, then we will waste money. This is because bad-quality phone cases can be used to trick people so they can buy their products. However, when I make my phone case I will work hard to make sure that my users will not be ripped off.

One time, I bought a phone case that I thought looked really nice, but sadly, although the aesthetics were great, it was the only part that actually worked. With one drop, my phone fell to the ground and the glass on my phone cracked, along with the case. I still haven't repaired it since. I want to make sure that when I create my own product that it's easy to use and has a firm grip so it's hard to drop. Additionally, I want to make sure if it is indeed dropped, then the phone case could protect the phone so it doesn't crack or harm it in any way.

 

Products are very useful in different ways for people but designing more useful design for those products that can make the product way better, for example, if you design a phone holder that has a hole for charger ports, so you can watch tv or movies while not having to hold your phone in an uncomfortable position just to watch a movie. Redesigning products makes life easier by making some sort of shortcut or helper for the product in many ways. Some products such as currency, buildings or everyday objects need redesign too. Some structures are just a plain straight building, To fix this, designers made structures in different shapes and some designers even made a building twisted. 

 

When in an uncomfortable position or a product hard to use. It could be either your ability to use it or the product needs redesigning. Products such as push water dispensers are hard to push down for some people. People have noticed this and then make an automatic water dispenser where you just either click a button or just place your cup under the sensor, The water comes out without touching a human hand! This helps us and make our lives easier and better so that we don’t need to ever suffer under under-developed products and better quality of life.

We need to redesign things because if we do all the things will be old and useless. We need to redesign things to make it better so it can help us. For example some erasers are easy to break so I can design an eraser that is hard enough to not break that easily.

In my opinion the thing that needs to be redesigned is a phone holder. How? I want to redesign it by making a phone holder synced to a phone, as in a portable phone holder which has a bluetooth charger that could allow the phone to charge without having to go to a certain or particular spot to charge it. 

Designing things has no “Perfect”, Designs have other effects without recreation, if we do not redesign anything, chances are that it will stay the same ruining or harming the environment in this planet, or something that could get us in trouble, something that could hurt us, or something that doesn’t get better anymore.

User - My goal is to make a coin that is used widely around KIS, this is because in some KIS events we need currency to purchase all sorts of things such as food! There will be a set of coins that will be made, each value will be equivalent to Thai baht such as 1 KIS coin  = 10 baht or 10 KIS coins = 100 baht etc. This product must be accessible to all members in KIS, It will look something like a coin with the KIS logo on it and then the value which will appear on the coin. 

Aesthetics: The phone case would have a clear background with different fictional characters on it. 

Function:The case will help any falls for example, if someone makes the phone fall, the case will protect the phone. 

User: The user would be between the age 13-17 because I think that other age groups wouldn’t be interested in this type of phone case. 

Manufacture: The manufacture is that we would 3D print the phone case. I will then paint is later.

The function of this product is: Phone safety (preventing our phone from breaking)

Material: This airpod strap is made of plastic do it can say in place when not touched. It can stay in place and you can adjust it to fit your neck.

Function: This airpod strap is a way to keep the airpods stuck to your ear, if the airpods feel loose that means that it is falling out but the airpod strap is holding it in place.

People who like keychains and animals, and who are responsible enough to take care of it. They will use it because they want a way to identify their things with the keychain.

There's an octopus with a hat and a small ring at the top.

The octopus looks cute, friendly, so the design looks altogether aesthetically pleasing.

Its not very practical because you don't know if the octopus might break or anything. Also, the reason why the designer chose this design is not clear.

It will be made from either clay or if we get to go back to school she will 3D print the design.

What are the parts of the design - Holes, shape: rounded rectangle

What are the strengths of the design - Very creative and very possible to make with good skills.

What are the weaknesses - Hard to replace the material after printing.

What materials - Rubber, 3D printer material.

Anyone who has a phone (specifically a iPhone X)

It's a phonecase with the words "Eat, Sleep, Repeat" on the back of it.

The phrase is catchy and it sounds nice when you say it out loud.

The words on the back of the phone look a little too big and the words looks like they are being squished together.

Plastic or rubber, or anything that is environmentally-friendly.
