When I done with football, it will have a continuing affect on me as a person shaping me into a mature structured man. Sports to me have never been a job on the field, sports help on and off regardless what the events might be. They aid us out of trouble, maturity, dicipline, and teamwork. They teach you life lessons that eventually will tie into the real world. Regardless of the sport, when you step on that field and feel the eyes of over a thousand people in the stands it makes you feel noticed, important, valuable. One thing that I will never forget is how it felt when your blood rushed through your body when you take your first step on a field on game day. I felt like I could do greater things and be better in another sport, football. Up till high school, I came to El Modena expecting great things in there football program. I would like to become a mechanical engineer because ever since I was young, I've always loved math and had a passion of building things freely. So working in the engineering path way will work best for me. After college, I'd like to work for a well industry in Southern California that needs a mechanical engineer in there company. Overtime, as the pay grows more vast, I will invest in a retirement plan and retire in my mid to late 50's. Not only does it have an amazing engineering program, they are not that far away in terms of my house. On weekends I go around to my local neighbors and help them with any lawn work such as cutting grass, planting, laying down new sheets of grass, etc. Most of the time I cut there grass and I get paid a good amount of about $30 a lawn and more if they need the backyard as well.
