This song, Arirang, is a main traditional south korean song. Because it is so famous throughout South Korea, this song is almost treated as the 2nd national anthem of South Korea. Meanwhile, the origin of the song's name is remained as a mystery.  Even though there are some theories about the word 'Arirang,' a words that doesn't exist in the Korean language. One other interesting fact about this song, Arirang is that there are different versions of it, based on where it was sang. They have different lyrics, different instruments used, and sometime different pitches.

this song, Jinyang is an old Korean folk song, originated from jeolla-do, which is a countryside of Korea. Generally,  folks songs from Jeolla-do has a is slow, which gives the song s sad vibe to it.

Odoltogi is an old Korean folk song originated from the Jeju island. Like its name, Jeju-do is an island. Speaking in general, songs from Jeju-do typically ends in the note re. Meanwhile, among the  folk songs in Jeju, odolttogi and lyahongtaryeong are the songs that are the most widely known.

It reminds childhood. Even though each songs have different feelings and vibes to it, it makes them feel happy.

Yes, because listening to such music (traditional music, such as folk songs) help establish identities not only as someone from the culture, but it helps establish identities as a person. Also, learning folk songs can help learn more about the culture of one’s home country.
