J_plum12 https://padlet.com/J_plum12/r0xdq99loojd/wish/38086673 What I like best about fostering dogs is that it gives me a sense of accomplishment.   I feel as though I saved one animal from being euthanized from the south and put in the effort to get him adopted.  I also love caring for the animal.  I become very bonded to my foster animals and they become very bonded to me.  Out of the 60 plus dogs, I've had come and go through my home over the years, I've adopted three of them.   We humorously call that a "foster failure".  I fostered them but ended up failing because I couldn't give them away.  :)

 I love fostering homeless dogs at my home now because it gives me a sense of purpose.   It makes me feel that I am making a difference in the life of one living thing that can feel love.

I think my love for dogs and saving them started when I was very young because of my exposure to them (I.e. grandmother taking me to the SPCA).  I also began volunteering at the animal shelters, walking the dogs and feeding them when I was a teenager.  I became very bonded to the homeless animals and wanted to help them in any way that I could.

She fears not being able to find homes for certain dogs she took in because they weren’t as good looking as the others and she didn’t know if anyone would want the dog.

Finding homes for many dogs.

Keeping many dogs from being put to sleep.

She wanted to see more dogs live and find nice, loving people to care for the dogs/puppies.
